21: The Hanged Man & The Stars

Joseph walks to you, Kakyoin and Jotaro while you were on the floor and he informs you that you'd all finally arrived in India. You nod and look down at the sleeping boy on top of you. You try to wake Kakyoin right before the boat arrives at the dock.

"Noriaki, wake up..." You say while moving your shoulder slightly.

"Mmmm, five more minutes..." He replies groggily. He reaches around you and snuggles into you like a pillow and buries his face further in the crook of your neck. You blush a light pink.

'Oh gosh... What do I do? Do I wake him up? Or do I just let him stay? He's too cute to push off!'

Your internal battle continues as you try to decide what to do with the handsome redhead who was clinging to you sweetly, but soon your thoughts and prayers are answered when the boat lets out its extremely loud horn, alerting everyone of the arrival of the boat at the port. Kakyoin wakes up immediately and jumps at the sound, looking side to side in a sleepy daze. You laugh extremely hard at his reaction. He looked like a cat trying to escape a pool of water.

"Are we in India?" He asks confused.

You laugh at him more before answering, "Yeah. We just made it."

"Stop teasing me," he says with a blush and he rubs the back of his neck.

"But it's so fun!"

He ruffles your hair and the two of you laugh in sync and then stand up from the floor. Jotaro had still remained on the floor and you tilt your head. You nudge his foot with yours and smirk.

"Hey! Ladies man! We're here."

Jotaro looks up at you with an expressionless face. "Yare Yare..."

"Come on." You hold out your hand and he accepts it as he stands up too.

The three of you head towards the rest of your group and listen in on Polnareff explaining his concerns about the culture gap, but Avdol tried to reassure him everything would be fine.

'Thank god I have an inventory in my stand. I'd be mugged based on what's about to happen out there.'

The ramp goes down and you all walk down to find and get to a place to stay and a food stop. But before you could make it a foot away from the ramp, you're swarmed by the people of India. They pull and tug on everyone asking for money, and trying to sell their goods, as well as trying to take you guys to god knows where.

You feel a grip on your wrist and it pulls you hard. You stumble forward a bit and you're pulled towards a much older man than you. He smiles at you creepily and leans forward. "Hey, Miss! Do you mind helping me for a second?"

"I can't. Would you please let go of me?" You say trying to yank your hand away.

"Come on! It'll just be a moment!" He says pulling you away.

"I said no!" You yell. You summon your Hamon and it shocks him all the way up his arm. The man lets go and falls to his knees in pain. You stand back and stare at him in shock.

'That could have been bad...'

You turn to leave and that's when the man leaps up and grabs you once more, this time from behind and you panic.

"I tried to be nice, lady, but you leave me no choice. Come on."

"Hey! Stop it!" You yell. You stomp on the man's foot and he lets you go, but then he immediately grabs your arm again.

'He doesn't let up!'

You're about to call for your stand until you feel someone grab your waist and pull you back into their chest. You stiffen at the unwelcome contact and you grow more anxious until you see a muscular arm with a black sleeve come into your vision. The arm grips and squeezes your attacker and he yells in pain. You physically relax and sigh in relief. Jotaro had saved you.
