"the exhibition will start in an hour," mr harrington said after he briefed the level on the exhibition and what the avengers were coming here for.

"the exhibition is starting in an hour," steve said as he knocked on tony's glass door. "i'll be there... just gotta figure out who's... the... mole! there," tony said after he expanded his hologram to see all the employee's faces in front of him. "got him," he pulled one specific hologram towards him with his fists clenched.

"that guy?" steve asked. he had seen him around for sure. weird guy, always fixing up something trying to show it to tony, but he would never accept any of his work because it was too risky, too dangerous, too... something.

"yeah," tony said, "can't believe it either." he closed all the other files except for the one he was holding in his hands, then released it to show the dozens of projects the man had done, and his medical information.

"tony, steve, gotta... him?!" natasha exclaimed. they heard rattling at the top of the ceiling and clint jumped down from the vents. "legolas i'm warning you, you gotta stop the vents adventure," tony warned, but clint wasn't having it.

"he's been pretty sneaky around here, stark. with the other employees. it's like they're planning a protest or something," clint said as he kept his bow. "and you were in full suit because..." tony continued.

"because we're going to impress some kids at some exhibition. gotta start stretching early. don't wanna make the same mistakes," clint shrugged and said. "okay... anyway. him," steve pointed back at the man's face in the hologram, "what are we gonna do?"

"fire him," tony snapped his fingers and leaned against his table. "no," natasha said, "he's gonna be disappointed, and then he's gonna plot some... sick revenge." "over my dead body," tony shrugged.

"okay gotta go. friday, you know what to do," tony smiled as he clapped his hands twice and the lights turned off. "yes boss," friday's voice surrounded the room as he walked off the lab and the avengers sighed, following suit. the holograms spun around the lab for a little while more...

before friday turned the holograms off.

"i'm so excited dude, you can't even imagine!!" ned exclaimed as they left the hall for lunch before the exhibition. "i'm so excited," peter exclaimed, rolling his eyes. he knew the avengers would make fun of him in front of his friends. "come on peter, it'll be fun," mj elbowed him lightly and peter jokingly felt offended.

"you guys better not bail on me later," peter warned. "seven's gonna be with us and she stays with you guys. if anything, both of you will be made fun of by them," ned laughed. peter rolled his eyes, then stopped in his tracks.

"where's seven?"

they looked around them. there were kids everywhere as they were changing periods or heading for lunch. groups of kids walked past them, talking about their next class, or complaining about the hoards of homework that their teacher gave them.

"here!" seven exclaimed as she ran towards them, panting, "sorry, got caught up with... something." ned dazed at her. there was just this... thing about seven that made her special. maybe it was her looks, or the way she dresses, or the way she carries herself, maybe the way she speaks, but she's just special.

"ned?" peter nudged ned as he looked at mj and seven who were chucking. "ned?" peter laughed, pushing ned again, "edward!" ned jumped and looked at peter in confusion. "edward?!" mj laughed.
