Cassandra:

"Little Cassandra, I will count till ten. If you don't come out that door before I say ten, I will get you out myself and it won't be nice."

"ONE", his voice boomed.

I began looking around for towels to cover myself better. I fumbled with the cabinet handle and checked inside...

"TWO"

...only to find conditioners, shampoos, some fragrant washes, and scented candles.

"THREE"

I threw another cabinet open only to find it empty.

"FOUR"

I looked up to find a cabinet out of my reach.

"FIVE"

I looked around to find any stools.

"SIX"

I found none. Beads of sweat formed on my forehead.

"SEVEN"

My heart raced as I looked up at that cabinet, my mind going blank for a moment.

"EIGHT!"

Is it safe for me to walk back out? I thought as I eyed the door.

"NINE!"

I didn't think so. I just ran into the glass shower compartment and shut it quickly.

"TEN! Time's up, little one," I could hear a smirk.

It went really quiet for a while. But, it suspiciously looked like the calm before a storm.

I quickly realized my suspicions were right. With a very loud bang, the door broke into pieces. I just tightly cupped my ears.

It felt exactly like something I had felt before. But this time, my Mom isn't around to protect me...

I looked to check if he stuck a bomb to the door. But I saw no smoke. Instead, I saw a bloody fist. He broke down the door to bits with just one blow. I couldn't help but quiver like a fluttering leaf.

He just strode confidently towards the sink and washed his fist slowly. It looked almost healed. I just pressed myself to the wall hoping it would swallow me in.

He placed his emerald eyes on me which sent shivers down my spine. They glowed dangerously bright. I held his gaze cautiously.

He strode slowly towards me and slid open the glass door of the shower compartment. I tried so hard to slow down my heart rate. But, I was scared out of my wits.

He placed both his arms around me caging me in place. His dark chocolate brown hair tickled my cheek as he bent down and sniffed my neck deeply. I felt my heart skip a beat.  His manly scent almost lulled me to a drowsy state making me want to wrap my arms around him tightly and not let go.

"So little one, what made you think that that flimsy door could protect you from me? I'm going to mate with you soon and all you have to do is obey and submit to me and give birth to the next Alpha generation. I can give you the best life a human can get in our empire," He spoke huskily twirling a strand of my hair, his captivating eyes not leaving mine.
