Day 2:

Cassandra:

As soon as I woke up, I eyed the doorless bathroom. Now that I realized that I have absolutely no privacy in here, I quickly showered and threw on my clothes.

I just sat on the bed waiting for breakfast as I eyed the border patrol and the training grounds full of people training, all from the window. 

A tired-looking Olive let in Hannah into the room. I looked at her concerned. 

"Hey Olive, are you okay?"

She just glared at me like always. She really hates me, I thought. Not that I care, but she looked like she hadn't slept a wink all night.

"Hey, come on! You look like you haven't slept all night." 

"Don't act like you care. I had to stand guarding you all night. It was an order from the Alpha." She said sternly.

I just raised an eyebrow. "Well, maybe you should take a nap now? Not like anything can happen when the entire pack is awake, right?"

She just growled that she only took orders from her Alpha and walked out. Grumpy much?

While I was finishing up the Bacon on my plate, the door swung open, and in came Aurora. She smiled radiantly and said, " Today, I will be your tour guide. I will show you around the pack. Would you like that?"

"Yes, please! " I sighed finishing the orange juice. " I'm tired of  being cooped up in this place."

"Then, let's explore!" She clapped her hands excitedly.

I stood before the training grounds with Aurora and eyed the five guards that stood behind us. 

" We were just going around the territory, right?"

She just smiled sheepishly, "Anton never lets me go anywhere without guards. Even if they aren't instructed, they'd still follow me."

I just laughed uncomfortably feeling their intense gazes on me, "So, these are the training grounds."

"Yup!"

"Every wolf in the pack train in shifts. And then they take turns to work. The children and teenagers attend werewolf schools instead. Fighters from other packs in the Empire come here to train too."

"Other packs?" I asked getting a little lost.

 "Yes, other packs. This is a huge were empire, Cass. The Arnoux Were Empire. There are many packs under us. It gets a little tricky to monitor such a huge number of wolves. The packs need to live closer to each other too. There are towns and towns housing only wolves from various packs. To the government and the tourists, they just look like plain human residents. Only a wolf can recognize another. The others use the vast forest cover and hide their packs."

"Wow! What about my town? Hashford?", I asked. 

[A/n: It's a Fictional Town. Don't search the internet for it. ;) ]

"A few lone wolves do live there." She told me. I was truly amazed. They did a great job camouflaging themselves.  

We went around the territory and saw the other packhouses, some independent houses, the storage house and the granary in case of calamities,  the pack hospital, the feast hall,  and also Anton's parent's house. She told me they went around on a world trip.
