•Colin's POV•
Today is the day I go back home. I enjoyed my time here, and I wish I could stay a little longer.
As we waited in the airport, I held Logan, and I couldn't help but get sad. I didn't wanna leave her after only a couple of days with her.
"When you get home, call me to let me know you made it safely," Jalissa said.
"I will, and before you guys go to sleep, FaceTime me so I can see your faces."
"Okay," she smiled.
My flight number was called, so I gave Logan to Jalissa. I gave her a hug & a kiss, then kissed Logan's forehead.
"Bye, Logan."
"Say 'bye Daddy,'" Jalissa said, picking up Logan's hand to wave.
"Bye, Lis."
"Bye."
I boarded my flight and prepared myself for this long & miserable flight.

When I got home, the first thing I did was call Jalissa to let her know I made it home. Then, I went to my parents' house to tell them everything that happened.
I walked inside, and my whole family was there. I assumed they all already knew by now.
"Colin, you're back! How was it?" Devon asked.
I smiled, giving everyone a hug. "I had a good time."
"What's her name, and what does she look like?" my mom asked excitedly.
I pulled out my phone and showed them a picture of the three of us. "Her name is Logan."
"Colin, she's so precious!" Devon squealed, "is that her mother?" I nodded. "Wow, she is beautiful."
"So when do we get to meet them?" my dad asked.
"Next week."
"I can't wait," Devon said.
While everyone talked amongst themselves, my mom asked to speak with me privately. I followed her to the backyard, and we sat on the patio.
"So what was it like seeing her for the first time?"
"It was so surreal. I couldn't believe I had a daughter. Then when I held her for the first time and when she looked at me, that's when it hit me. She's so comfortable around me, Mom, and I just love her so much already. And Jalissa, she's ju—"
I stopped talking when a smile spread across my mom's face.
"Am I talking too much?" I asked her.
"Not at all, sweetheart. I'm just so proud of you," she said, "what about Logan's mother?"
"I like her, Mom. Like a lot," I said, "she's smart and pretty and we can talk for hours. I can't wait for you guys to meet her."
We talked for a little longer before going back inside with everyone else.
Next week couldn't get here fast enough.

When I pulled up in front of my house, Michael's car was in the driveway, which meant he was inside.
I walked in the living room, and he was sitting on the couch, watching SportsCenter.
"Kaep! What's up, man?"
"Why are you always in my house?"
"Don't worry about that," he said, "what were you doing in Atlanta?"
I furrowed my eyebrows, taking a seat next to him on the couch. "How did you —"
"Gi told me."
I nodded. "I went to visit Jalissa."
"Wait, what?! Why?!" he asked, giving me his full attention.
"Because I wanted to see her."
"Oh." He say back on the couch, turning his attention back to the TV. "Well, how is she?"
"Good. She uh, she has a kid now," I said, smiling mentally.
He shot up from the couch, and he looked at means if I lost my mind.
"Jalissa has a kid?! Giovanna's cousin, Jalissa?!" he asked in disbelief.
"Yeah," I chuckled.
"I never woulda thought. So, who's the dad? You?" he joked. I didn't say anything, so he stopped laughing and got serious. "You're the dad?! For real?! Are you sure?!"
"Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, I was her..."
"You took the girl's virginity?!"
I nodded, trying to not to laugh at how dramatic he was.
"Oh God," he whispered, "well what does Baby Kaep look like?"
I showed him a picture, and he looked at it hard, then looked at me, then back at the picture.
"Are you sure this is your baby?" he asked with his eyebrow raised. "She's too cute to be yours."
"Shut up," I laughed.
"But for real though, she's a cute kid. When do I get to meet...?"
"Logan."
"When do I get to meet her?"
"They're coming out next week, so I guess you can meet her then."
"Cool," he said, "well, I'm gonna go, but I'll see you tomorrow."
"Aight."
We did our little handshake and he left. I was thinking about calling Jalissa myself but before I could, she called me on FaceTime.
The first thing I saw when the image popped up was Logan, who was wide awake, chewing on Jalissa's hand.
"Hey," I smiled.
"Hey."
"What is the little one still doing up?" I asked.
"For some reason, she doesn't wanna go to sleep."
I watched my daughter chew on her mother's hand until she squealed, giggled and kicked her little feet, which made Jalissa & I laugh.
"You see Daddy?" she said to Logan, who stopped chewing on Jalissa's hand to reach out to the screen.
"So, my family is really excited about meeting you," I said.
"Really?"
I nodded, biting my lip. "How long will you be staying?"
"How long do you want me to stay?" she asked, holding her head down and trying not to smile.
"It would be nice if you could stay the whole week," I said.
"I think I can make that happen."
I smiled and noticed that Logan had fell asleep.
"Guess who fell asleep?"
Jalissa looked down at Logan and smiled. "I'm gonna put her in her crib. I'll talk to you later."
"Okay."
We hung up, and I went upstairs to get some rest. That night, I went to sleep thinking about Logan & Jalissa.
