December 25

Jalissa's POV

I was so glad Logan got to spend her first Christmas with both of her parents. It just made today even better.

We were sitting around the tree, opening presents for Logan. She's only five months old, but she was already super spoiled. However, she wasn't really interested in the actual gifts; she was more in to the wrapping paper that was spread out on the floor.

After unwrapping all of her presents, Colin handed me a little box, and I just looked at him with my eyebrow raised.

"Colin, I told you not to get me anything."

"I know, but how could I not get you something? You're my girlfriend now."

I smirked at him calling me his girlfriend. I opened the box and inside was a gold ring with mine & Logan's names & birthstones on it.

"Colin, it's beautiful! Thank you."

"You're welcome. I'm glad you like it." He leaned into me and kissed my lips softy. "I have something else for you," he said, getting off the floor.

"Co—"

"Just sit here while I go get it," he said, rushing outside.

"Hm. What do you think Daddy's hiding?" I asked Logan, who was trying to put wrapping paper in her mouth.

Colin came back, and he was holding a little black puppy in his arms. I immediately jumped up off the floor when he stopped in front of me.

"I know how much you wanted a dog and I know you want Logan to have one so when I saw this little guy, I had to get him," he said.

"What's his name?" I asked in awe.

"Bruno."

"He's so cute!" I squealed. "But are you sure you want a dog around here?"

He nodded. "If it's gonna make you & Logan happy, I didn't mind."

He put Bruno on the floor, and he trotted over to Logan. He started sniffing her, and that made her laugh like her life depended on it.

I took a picture of Logan & Bruno, then set my camera down before getting Colin's gift.

"Okay, it's your turn," I said to him.

"Lis —"

"I don't wanna hear it, Colin. If you get to buy me something, I get to buy you something," I said, handing him the box.

It's really hard to shop for someone who could buy anything they wanted, so I didn't know what to get him. I ended up getting this gold watch, and I had "CK7" engraved on the back.

"I would've bought you shoes, but I figured you don't need any more."

He chuckled and put the watch on. "Thank you, baby girl. I love it."

He gave me another kiss, then I got the paper & pen off the table.

"I got you something else, too," I said, handing him the paper face down. "Merry Christmas, Colin."

He turned it over, looked at it, then looked up at me. "Is this for real?"

Colin's POV

"Is this for real?"

She smiled and nodded, so I quickly stood up to give her a hug. The paper she gave me was Logan's birth certificate, and she added my last name to Logan's. She was now Logan Marie Tucker-Kaepernick. I was so happy, I hugged her tighter.

"Thank you so much, Jalissa. This means a lot to me."

I finally let her go and kissed her. I don't think she even realized that she made my day.

"Now all you have to do is sign it," she said, handing me the pen.

I, gladly, signed the birth certificate, then picked Logan up off the floor and kissed her forehead.

"I love you, Logan."

She squealed and pressed her mouth against my cheek, which made me smile.

I can officially say this was the best Christmas ever.
