Chua Empire. One of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, in the field of business.

Lahat na yata ng kompanya at korporasyon sa loob at labas ng bansa ay nais magkaroon ng kaugnayan at koneksyon dito.

My grandfather was the man behind the powerful empire. But who would have thought that before it became an empire, it was nothing but a struggling company?

The man had to work hard in order for his company to survive. Using his intellect and attitude, he was able to turn his struggling company to a successful one.

When the founder died, everything was inherited by his only child. His son Maximillion Chua.

Instead of power and wealth, Maximillion longed for love. Ang mamuhay ng simple at makabuo ng sariling pamilya ang tangi niya lamang hangad. Hindi naman ito naipagkait sa kanya. He met a woman. They fell in love and had a child.

He was contented with the life he had. Masaya siyang kasama ang kanyang munting pamilya.

Pero ang buhay na para sa kanya ay hindi ganito. Hindi niya maaaring takbohan at talikoran habangbuhay ang kanyang tadhana.

Hindi niya maaaring pabayaan na mapunta sa wala ang lahat ng pinag-hirapan ng kanyang ama. It is his responsibility to continue the empire his father had built.

Dahil dito ay kinakailangan niyang balikan ang buhay na kanyang iniwan. He needed to choose and in the end he had choosen to accept his obligation as a son.

He gained power and wealth but he lost very important people in his life. He lost the woman he loves and eventually he lost her daughter too.

Maximillion knew that he cannot have it all. He needed to make a choice. He needed to sacrifice his family. He kept a hope in his heart that someday the people he had lost will come back to him.

Hinintay niya ang araw na bumalik ang lahat sa dati ngunit nabigo siya.

Wala siyang tanging nagawa kundi tanggapin ang kanyang kapalaran.

"I can't do this anymore. Alam mo at alam kong hindi ito ang gusto ko. Paki-usap. Hayaan na ninyo akong bumalik sa buhay na gusto ko." I pleaded to him.

This is not the life I wanted. Ang buhay na gusto ko ay ang makapag-turo.

"Why the sudden change of heart Alli? Hindi basta-basta ang gusto mong mangyari. Everything has been arranged. The empire has been passed on to you." malamig na sagot niya sa akin.

"Bakit hindi mo na lang ibigay ang kompanya kay Condrad? Siya naman ang itinuturing mong kanang kamay. He can run it for you. Mas may alam siya sa pagpapatakbo nito." katwiran ko.

"Condrad is a trusted friend but he is not a family. You are my only family Allison." Naramdaman ko ang pait at lungkot sa kanyang tinig.

"Pero ang gusto ko ay mag-turo. Gusto kong ipagpatuloy ang pagiging guro. Ito ang gusto ko. It was Mom's dream that I promised to continue." sagot ko.

"Mag-turo? Anong mapapala mo sa pag-tuturo?" he asked sarcastically. "You now own an empire. You have everything. Ipagpapalit mo ba lahat ng ito sa iyong walang kuwentang pangarap?"
