Luigi backed away from the mirror, blood dripping down his chin. He grabbed a glove from the edge of the sink and wiped it away, dropping the glove absentmindedly on the floor. Shaking, and hunched over a little, he made his way to the bathroom door. Putting a clawed hand on the handle, he exited the room, into the hallway once more. He paused, as if he were thinking, but no thought came. He began walking back to the door in which the idea leading to his change of heart was formed. Luigi sighed, a laugh hidden beneath the sound, and, ever so carefully, he entered the room, closing and locking the door behind him as slowly and quietly as he could.
A pair of terrified eyes regarded Luigi's entrance, and he could hear the owner of the scared gaze's breath quicken. "What happened to you...?" Rosalina said with a shaking voice. The quaking beast gave no response, only a violent grin. "Luigi, please... I don't know what this is about but you need to snap out of it! You've been a missing person for ages! Mario's scared out of his mind, people think you're dead! You need to come back! Please!!" She cried out. Luigi heard her speak his name, but in this state of mind, it sounded strange and meaningless to him. He only advanced in silence, a blue eye looking over his victim. He shuddered, his breath gradually got faster. He felt urges unlike any he had in his life. He lowered his head, but kept his eye on Rosalina.
-"You know what to do..."-
The voice spoke words of assurance, but his mind registered it as a command. Luigi launched at her, claws ripping into skin and flesh, fangs drawing blood. He scratched and tore, listening to Rosalina's shrieks of death with glee. Piece by piece, the creature ripped his prey to shreds, her cries silencing in quick time. Even then, he wasn't done. Teeth grabbing and ripping flesh and organs, dead remains sliding down his throat, the taste of blood in his mouth.
Eventually, Luigi was finally done. He stood up once more, backing up to look over what remained. Mostly hair, bones, and scraps of flesh. Just as suddenly as his animalistic behavior came over him, it disappeared. He was suddenly aware of the blood covering his body, the horrors of the scene he built, and above all, what he had just done. He backed up, tears running down his face, fear silencing him. He could hear the voice again, the sound that became his worst nightmare, but the identity of one of the very few he could trust in the madness. It chuckled softly and said with a purr,
-"You'll get used to it..."-
