L's dreams held nothing good for him.
He was in an unfamiliar, unnatural landscape, stuck to the ground, unable to move. Blood spilled and turned the grass a dark, deadly red. An axe stuck out from his midsection. He couldn't understand why he was in this situation. All around him was a buzzing sound, a terrible buzzing sound that split his head apart. He winced, squinting, but, strangely, he couldn't close his eyes. It was like someone was

forcing him to face this nightmare. He tried to pull himself up, or at least grab the axe, but to no avail. Tears fell down his face, but when he looked to the side, at the grass in which they should land, he only saw more blood. The sight shocked him near breathless. He didn't know what to do. His mind raced. In his panic, he could feel something.

It was like something was pushing him. He tried to see who it was, but they were just out of sight. And then,
"LUIGI!!"
He launched himself upright, screaming at the top of his lungs. Breathing heavily, he turned. Daisy was next to him, looking frightened.
"Are you alright...?"
"Yeah... just a weird dream..."
"You wanna talk about it, while you still remember it?"
L agreed, describing the scene as best he can. Daisy frowned.
"I... I don't know what to say, I..."
L interrupted her,

"You... you don't have to say anything, I'm just happy I can talk about it."

Daisy sighed, accepting what he said. "Well, we should start getting you back on your feet, huh? We can start by getting this house all cleaned up."
And, so, they began to tidy up L's house, which, to his surprise, was going to take a lot more work than he anticipated. Fixing his bedroom walls, filling in the innumerable scratches in them, reorganizing, and the like. L carried the plushies he made up to his room, and when he set them up, Daisy seemed surprised at the sight of them. From how it seemed, they were going to be talking about them at some point in the near future. Daisy tried to bleach out the bloodstains on his sink, but it proved difficult. L tried helping, but even then, their attempts were futile.
"Guess I should have guessed that would happen... it's a really old stain, think it was from... January, or something... could be wrong..."
"No wonder..."
They kept up at cleaning and fixing the house until, finally, it looked good as new.
"This is... much nicer..."
Daisy smiled at him,
"Yeah, it is! I thought that would be a decent start. Yeah, there's a lot left to do, even after you get back out there, but hey! A start is a start!"
L paused, smiling without even noticing.
"I suppose so..."
