Chapter 1: Hinobi Smash

START: Episode 1 (A/N: I didn't realize till season 2 that Papi is not Five's dad, so sorry in advance if I didn't catch all of the typo mistakes on calling Papi Five's dad. The art above is mine, and yes I used Miko as a template for Kitty. First is her normal outfit, second is uniform, third is glitch tech uniform.)

Kitty's P.O.V

It was another day at the Taco Dragon. I was currently helping my brother, Five in the kitchen of our family's food truck. "Ok I need a mushu pork carnitas, two fried rice and beans, and an order of won-tonquitos. Rapido, chicos." Papi said.

"Grinding as fast as we can, Papi." Five said. "Ponzu!" I said. "Chorizo." Said Five. "Tortilla!" I said as I helped Five get all of the ingredients. "We chose you!" We both said at the same time. Five placing the tortillas on the flat grill. "Player ready for melee!" I said, helping Five get in the zone for cooking. Video games was always his motivation. So when it was his turn to cook, I did the voice overs for him. "He unleashes his power combo, the triple chop!"

He then flips the soy sauce into the air, "and for his finishing move..." I said. He then puts some soy sauce onto the food and perfectly folds them together. Then he sees a small chili pepper on the top and flicks it off. "Flawless." He said.

Then we hear the TV go of, "Hey guys, it's me K. Moon. And today is the day. The 7th annual Hinobi Smash tournament is here. And the hype is off the charts." The gamer said on the TV. "It's set to the the biggest NS completion yet. I'm even hearing the company sent exclusive wristbands to the top ranked gamers in each city." Five and I then take out the orange wrist bands we received. Saddened that we will most likely not be able to go.

"So y'all, can I just say, if you got one of these things. I am mega jealous of that sweet sweet swag." The gamer said. Five's band saying his gamer tag, HI_5, and mine saying Kit.Kat.

"Ok so if we are talking competitors, we gotta talk reigning champ, Mitch Williams." The gamer girl continued. I gasp and put my full attention to the TV. Swooning at the sight of Mitch. I could hear Five restrain his laugh, and feel him rolls his eyes at me. "Shush!" I said out of embarrassment, shooing my hand at him. Five gets excited too, also loving Mitch's gameplays and was really looking forward to going against him at the tournament. "He'll be defending his title for the forth year in a row."

But then Five almost forgot about the food. "Chicos! You're not burning my frijoles in there, are you." Papi calls out to him. This caused him to panic accidentally toss his wristband onto the grill. He quickly grabbed it, but then forgot that it was hot to the touch. He then puts his hand in his mouth to soothe the pain.

"Nursing those trigger fingers?" Abuela laughs. "Sorry Abuela. I was just-." But then all of a sudden the neighborhood kids come by, asking for our assistance on another game level. "Ten minutes. Make 'em count, playa." She tells Five. "Go ahead Five. I'll take the grill from here." I said. "Thanks Abuela. Thanks Kit!" Five said as he goes out to help the kids play their game. I then go to continue cooking orders.

After a while, Abuela found the Hinobi Smash bracelet. "Gatita, what is this?" Abuela calls me little cat in Spanish. "Oh that's um, Five's wrist band to the Hinobi Smash tournament. We both got one. They say the best players in the city gets one to participate." I explain. She nods and tells Papi, and he turns off the flat grill. I look at the two of them confused.

"Oye, Five! Being yourself back in here." Papi said. Five then puts his apron back on ready to get back to work. "Huh? You shut the cooker off?" Five said confused at Papi. "Found this on the Floor. Had your name on it." He said as he help up the wristband.

"That? Oh that's nothing." Five says half heartedly. "Sure seems like something." Abuela said. "And Kit has one too, and told us that only the best gamers in the city gets these. And online says the winner gets a job at the Hinobi game store. I think you two should take the opportunity." Papi said as he handed Five his wristband and put his arms around the both of us.
