(⚠️⚠️⚠️SMUT WARNING⚠️⚠️⚠️)
Sam felt like a cat on a hot tin roof after she found out one of Draco's friends was a werewolf.
The fragile looking boy with ragged hair and sunken eyes, who answered to the name of Hamish, was a werewolf.
What Sam couldn't handle was Draco being involved with such. Although she never asked, or trusted herself to meddle with her brother's business, she couldn't help but feel left out or disappointed by her brother's actions.
Sam admitted she doesn't have anything against werewolves. But knowing her brother, she couldn't help but care.
Does the Headmaster of Hogwarts even know about Hamish?
It would seem like not since Draco had confessed to Sam that they have been carefully making the Wolfsbane Potion by themselves in the Forbidden Forest and sometimes in the bathroom haunted by Moaning Myrtle.
Sam was more upset that at the very moment she found out about this, Draco immediately asked for her assistance, as if pulling her into their circle.
First. To keep Hamish's condition a secret. Especially to Hermione. Draco persistently advised Sam not to involve her in this. Sam agreed. Of course, she wouldn't involve Hermione. That's the last thing she would do.
And second. To help them brew another set of Wolfsbane Potion.
For them to finish the concoction, they'd have to have all the remaining ingredients for the potion. One lacking ingredient - Valerian roots.
And this was the most dreaded part. Sam would have to sneak into Professor Slughorn's office and obtain the missing ingredient.
"Why don't you do it yourself?" Sam muttered angrily at Draco during dinner the next day.
"You've seen his office, I'm pretty sure you can save us a lot of time," Draco explained.
Sam had lost appetite now. "Professor Slughorn trusted me."
"Don't worry... Hamish and I will be there to help you. Crabbe and Goyle will be manning outside the corridor-"
"Don't be stupid, Draco, even a Professor like him knows how to enchant securities all over his place-"
"Not unless, he trusted you," Draco added. "The moment you'd enter his office as you had before, the charm protection would have been broken, enabling me and Hamish to get inside."
"Can't you get someone else? What if I didn't catch you that evening?"
"Well, we were already planning to tell you, Sam... We just took our time..."
"This is outrageous," I said as I glared at Hamish. He glared back. He wasn't at all grateful about the whole thing.
"Sam, we only have a month and a half left, okay? And the remaining potion will be all used up by-"
"Can we talk?" Hermione asked before them. Sam looked at Hermione and she looked so helpless, her eyes all puffy, and her voice sounded hoarse. She wanted to hug Hermione right there, right now. Oh, how Sam missed her.
Some students whistled, bringing Sam back to her senses.
"Sammy and Hermione had a fight?" Sam heard Blaise tease.
Sam quickly stood up to leave. But not before whispering something to Draco, "Find someone else. I'm not gonna do it."

Sam's worries immediately vanished when Hermione said she loves her too. Sam was so happy, she almost forgot about Hamish. She thought Hermione did not feel the same way back. And the love she felt was only one-sided. She couldn't be any more wrong.
