(Before reading)
The only book left in my library which is completed and I haven't read yet. If I read this, I may not have anything to read in next 3-4 days and my head can explode with headaches due to reading continuously without specs, but do I care? Hell no! First time ever I'm getting two versions of the same book and I'm hella excited to read 'em.(After reading)
It's nearly impossible if you never came across this book. First wattpad recommended it to me, then I saw it in many people's shelf. It's even published as Textrovert. So I guess it's pretty popular.I wasn't planning on reading Textrovert, but then, it was shorter. But then it also means, it doesn't has many things TCPS has. So I just started reading both simultaneously. I can't say if I mention something here, it is from Textrovert or TCPS. It's all mixed up in my head.
Keeley Brewer accidentally swaps her phone with rival school's quarterback Talon Harrington popularly known as JT (That's a spoiler, but I think it was obvious), but Keeley doesn't know that. As he leaves for football camp with her phone she has to wait a whole week to get it back.
During this week, they're left with no option but to pass each other's calls and messages. Talon's cockiness & arrogance pisses Keeley off and she pulls on some hilarious pranks. When all the girls are running after him, Keeley's only one being difficult to him. She catches his attention. They grow closer, share deepest of their feelings and all. In short, they start falling for each other.
Zachary Brewer, Keeley's twin brother is the quarterback of their school. He's exactly like Talon (not really). Football is his life. Edgewood/Crosswell rivalry has more to it. Zach and Talon have some history. Both have done some mistakes which turned a girl's life into hell. They both are guilty and also hate each other.
Zach is afraid Talon will do the same thing with Keeley. He's furious when he gets to know about Keeley and Talon. Let me be clear here. I loved Zach and Keeley's bond. I loved the way he's protective about her.
I couldn't trust Talon after the way he reacted the way when Zach saw them together for first time. All I knew was Keeley shouldn't hurt Zach because of Talon. Basically, I'll choose Zach over Talon anyday and I'm not sorry for it.
Despite everything, I felt really sorry for Talon when they broke up. Maybe he didn't deserve that.
Wow. Been four months I wrote the last sentence. Let's wrap this up.
TCPS is more of a silly teenfic whereas Textrovert is a bit more realistic. In textrovert, Keeley's shown as a girl who's confident and badass behind the phone screen but she's afraid to face the real world. Her inability to choose a career and all makes Textrovert better than TCPS. I don't think there is much difference between the two. Textrovert is just TCPS without some characters & scenes.
Okay, I'm done. I don't have anything else to say. Maybe I'll edit this if I ever reread any of the book.
Hi everyone! Someone came to meet me after three months. My period. So far I've been like 'aana hai to puri tarah aa ya phir mat aa'.
All I've done is staring at TV and converting O2 to CO2. At least I have written two reviews (rants). And with this update, I'm done with all the pending reviews. Yay.
See ya'll soon. Take care.
Thanks for reading :)
