(Before Reading)
It's been what, six months since I read Badgirl's Boy and I think it's time to read Badboy's Girl.

No, I'm not obsessed with badboy stories. I wanted to read it ever since I read Badgirl's Boy. I wanted to read some indian story for a long time (sorry for not taking your suggestions on some previous review in account, yet). I think this fanfic is best choice.

(After Reading)
Best thing about this book is you don't have to watch KYY to know something about story. I'm guessing the characters and their relations are different than the show. And it's explained so not knowing much about KYY doesn't matter which I'm so glad for.

First surprise was knowing Manik and Nandini were already in relationship, that too for two years. I was kind of upset that the last book I read ended immediately after the characters confessed their feelings. So I'm not gonna complain for not giving the beginning of their story. Because there are small flashbacks to tell that.

It felt like watching a random long episode of the show. Even though I don't know, which character is played by whom, it was enough to tell what their role is.

Manik is a badboy who cares about nothing but Nandini. He's so possessive about her. She is his weakness and strength, both. He's a badboy to everyone, but Nandini.

Nandini is sweet, innocent and caring girl who doesn't care what world says about her relationship with Manik. She's happy being the badboy's girl, because she knows how much he loves her and what she means to him.

They both have their own family issues. Nandini can't stand violence. It makes her miserable but Manik knows how to sooth her. The badboy has a caring heart which is owned by Nandini. They have a really cute past connection, which Nandini doesn't know or rather doesn't remember.

There are other couples too. Cabir (Idk why it's not Kabir) & Navya and Abhimanyu & Mukti. I like the story of Abhi and Mukti from Badgirl's boy more though.

Then there's Manik's step mother and step brother who keep doing futile attempts to mess Manik's life. But that guy doesn't care about anything.

Aryamaan. Ugh, I don't understand this guy. He's Manik's ex-best friend who's now his enemy and business partner. He said, it would be fun to get Nandini. But later, we get to know that, he was never an obstacle between Manik & Nandini. Whatever. From now on, I'm just going to ignore him.

This is second MaNan fanfic I read and both are by the same author. So I don't have much to compare it to. This is better than Badgirl's boy. I can't say which I liked more. This has a better plotline. Their past and present are weaved together very well.

It's nice to read a fanfic once in a while. I don't see myself watching KYY anytime soon, so fanfics are all I have.
