Chapter 29

"Umji you're awake!!" Yerin said and they all ran up to me. This is so deja vu! I woke up with a dextrose and a heart monitor attached to my arm. I don't need to ask because based from my surroundings I am in the hospital.

The memory of what happened flashed in my mind. "How's the baby?" I asked scared. I was panicking and worried so much for my child. They all looked at me sadly and Sowon unnie shook her head.

"What do you mean? You're kidding right?" I laughed at her. She's not serious right? They could just be pranking me! "Unnie it's not funny!" I am already on the verge of tears. She has to say that she's joking and that it isn't true! Why isn't she saying anything?

"Umji-ah." Yerin unnie sobbed and hugged me tightly. Tears were now spilling from my eyes as the girls hugged me crying with me. I let out a loud cry while holding onto Yerin's shirt tightly.

"WHAT?!" The boys yelled in unison. "W-when did this accident happen?" Suga asked the staff stuttering.

"About 2 days ago?" Their blood boiled as they were only informed of the news of Umji's accident by the stairs now. "Are you all crazy?! The accident happened 2 days ago yet you're only telling us now??" RM yelled.

"How is she? How are they?" Suga asked nervously. The staff shrugged casually before speaking, "We don't know. Ask them when they come back. They'll be here in a few minutes." It said and left them stunned.

They were scared and worried for Umji, especially Suga. She was under a special condition yet she had to go through that. Why? How did it happen? Suga was shaking in fear and possibilities of what could've happened flooded his mind. They all waited in the living room for 30 minutes until Gfriend finally came through the front door.

The boys looked up at them to see Umji looking down, she was paler than usual and her eyes were red and puffy. Suga immediately went to Umji and held her hands. "Are you okay? What happened? The staff told us only now. We didn't know that it happened 2 days ago. I was scared! How is the—"

"I lost it." Umji cut him off before he could ask about their child. Suga felt his world stop and crash down before him. His heart ached and was bleeding by what he heard. "You're kidding aren't you?" A tear fell from his eye. Umji didn't answer him as she started crying once again.

"Yah! This is not a funny joke!" He said feeling anger rise up in him. Everybody was looking sadly at the both of them. "Yewon!! Tell me the truth." He yelled as more tears raced down his cheeks. He was mad, beyond mad, angry, and beyond angry. "Why did you not take care of yourself well? How could you have been so selfish?! You knew that were bearing our child and is not alone right now! Why did you have to be so careless and get yourself in an accident? Didn't you even think? 'What if something happened to us? What if we get in trouble?' You should've thought about these first before acting so selfishly—"

"Yah! Suga! That's too much—" SinB cut him off but he cut her off also by yelling. "Stay out of this SinB! You don't know what I'm feeling right now—"

Sowon walked up to Suga and slapped him on the face making almost everybody gasp and the boys stood up in shock. "Yah! Do you think we don't know how you feel? You're right we don't! But do you know what Umji feels? Do you know what she has been through? She cried all day when she woke up instead of resting. She cried for 2 days thinking it was her fault. It was an accident! Do you think she wanted to be in an accident? She didn't and it wasn't. She was pushed down the stairs with no witnesses and no CCTV cameras! Do you even know how much burden she had to carry for 2 days? You think you're hurting? Look at her! Umji isn't just someone who lost some thing. She lost her child! It was hers too!" Everyone was silent and was lost for words. They know how angry Suga is but they also know that Sowon was right. Umji slowly walked towards her room but Suga grabbed her hand stopping her.

"Yewon—"

Umji cut him off by slapping him on the face too. He was shocked and slowly let go of her hand. She was crying hard and was shaking in sadness and anger. "How dare you blame me? If you really think that I was selfish and careless then you should have stayed by my side all this time! How come I'm the one at fault only? I'm getting tired of this really. I already know the truth! If you love her that much then file divorce and get married with her! I hate you." And with that she walked away locking herself in her room.
