Spring in Toronto were something else entirely. With the mild late-April weather, warm days and cold nights, came a sense of home. Because for Adam this was his home. He was born and raised here, this is where he became who he was. He loved Vancouver, the culture, the weather, the way things were done, but Toronto would always have a special place in his heart.

"Enjoying the view?" Dylan said smugly as he watched his boyfriend, standing stark naked at the large glass window and staring out at the view of downtown Toronto.

"Yeah, but what are you doing? Shouldn't you be getting ready for your meeting?" Adam rolled his eyes playfully as Dylan eyed him lustfully.

"I'm enjoying the view too." Dylan smirked as he tucked his hands behind his head, beckoning Adam over with a glance.

"Go shower, and we can go for round three after your meeting." Adam said teasingly a she dragged Dylan out of bed and pushed him towards the washroom.

Dylan had a meeting he had to attend on behalf of his parents. Tremblay Corp was looking into buying a large luxury hotel in downtown Toronto that was going under. Hayden was busy, and he also secretly enjoyed keeping Dylan in on the family business in some capacity or another. They were inseparable since the beginning  and Hayden always thought they'd run the corporation together, but then Dylan pursued his dream of becoming a surgeon and that all went out the window.

Adam felt alone in the hotel room after Dylan left him to attend the board meeting. Well, it wasn't a hotel room exactly, it was the penthouse of the hotel. Tremblay Hotels was the largest chain of luxury hotels in Canada, which is why Adam never even dreamt of staying there, let alone being in a penthouse suite.

Dylan gave him specific instructions to meet him him the hotel lounge around noon, since that's when the meeting would end. Adam was used to such vague instructions, Dylan loved to do these little surprise dates and excursions, and after ten months of dating, Adam had grown rather accustomed to it.

Not to say he liked surprises, Adam was the type of person to google the menu of the restaurant he was going to one day in advance so he could plan what to order. He wasn't the type to go out on a whim, but slowly and surely he was growing accustomed to it.

He sat in the hotel lounge wearing his usual cuffed dark jeans, a button down tucked into them and a black sweater on top. He glanced around, not seeing Dylan anywhere, and huffed in boredom before glancing back down on his phone.

"There you are." He heard a familiar voice as Adam's face brightened, looking up to see Dylan smiling down at him wearing his dapper tailored suit, flanked on either side by an older couple who looked to be in their late fifties.

The man looked like an older version of Dylan, just more tan and with darker eyes and black hair. The woman was gracious and regal looking, with paler skin, Dylan's bright blue eyes, and his chestnut brown hair falling down to her shoulders.

"You must be Adam." The woman said with a warm maternal smile. "I'm Marie, Dylan's mom. You can call me Marie, or Mom if you'd like." She said lovingly as she shook hands with Adam, though Dylan was glaring at her angrily.

"And I'm Giuseppe." The older man said with a suave Italian accent. "And you can call me Dad if you want to."

"Okay, if you're both done embarrassing me, can we eat. I'm starving." Dylan cut her off, rolling his eyes before grabbing Adam by the arm and tugging him along.

They walked over towards the hotel restaurant, and were immediately seated in a private area, which shouldn't have been surprising considering he was sitting with the very people who owned this hotel.
