As soon as I wake up, I regret not taking them extra pain killers last night. I didn't go to sleep until after 2am. because they kept me at the station for questioning, until they decided to inform me that they were finished at the crime scene so I could go home. The knife didn't cut me that deep so after a few weeks, the scaring will be gone and it'll be a distant memory.

"Good morning Clare." I smile, once I get out of the elevator on the third floor.

"Hey Olivia, I heard what happened last night. You all good?"

I nod. "It was nothing really, I've experienced a lot worse."

Clare smiles. "I'm glad to hear it. I'm surprised your in so early this morning though."

I shrug. "Work goes on."

When I get into the office, I phone down to the detectives on my case and they basically told me that Daniels will make the bail, because he has the money.

I glance at the clock 7:13, Theo's late.

Three hours pass before the office door swings open and Theo walks in. I throw him a quick glance, but decide against saying anything.

"Wow your here early babe." He smirks.

I look over at him, he's leaning back in his chair letting it swing from side to side, with a proud grin on his face.

"The last I checked out shift starts at 7, remember?"

He lets out a fake gasp. "Did I forget to mention that we were sent a message last night after everything, that we could come in at 10 instead? Damn I forgot your number wasn't registered yet."

The smirk tells me he didn't forget.

Prick.

"Oh don't worry babe, while you were attempting to make yourself look half normal, I found the location Daniels stores his stash."

"You and I both know what you really think of me sweetheart." He smirks his English accent sounding stronger than usual. He stands up and grabs his things. "Well let's see how you can deal with a real life situation."

"If I can deal with the man himself, unarmed, I'm pretty sure a few buff security guards won't intimidate me." I stand up and clip my belt in place. I look back up at him once I've placed the pocketknife back in my boot. "You're the one we should be worried about."

"Princess you'll soon find out how good my stamina really is."

I felt that.

"You're quite the cocky one, aren't you?"

"Wow you can make that prediction by just looking? I prefer hu-"

I roll my eyes before interrupting him. "Bad choice of words." I walk out and I can hear Theo's footsteps and laugh behind me.

"I'm driving." Theo says once we get to the ground floor.

"You don't even know where we're going."

"I'm going to introduce you to this thing called a sat nav, it's 2020 babe."

"Whatever. Then I'm driving next time."

He shrugs. "Suits me, I mean that's if you make it through this."

I hit his chest. "You really are a dick, you know that?"

"All part of the charm."

I snort and decide to tell a lie. "What charm?"

Just over twenty minutes later, Theo pulls
up a block away from the garage, we suspect they're storing the drugs in.
