"...your room is on the eleventh floor, room number 1114. Enjoy your stay in New York." The receptionist finishes her explanation and gives us a friendly smile.

"Thank you!" I return her smile, grabbing the keycard she's holding towards me. I stuff the key in my bag while I walk back towards where Theo is standing with the luggage.

"We're in the eleventh floor." I inform him and grab the shoulder bags.

"Again with the shoulder bags?" He complains with a raised eyebrow.

"Pretty sure I recall you being discharged out of hospital a few days ago with the warning of no heavy lifting, so Theodore you will roll the suitcases."

"It weighs barely anything." He retorts as we walk towards the elevator.

"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot you lift weights heavier than me but I'm pretty sure you want to get back to work right?"

"I look like a pus-"

"You sound like one too." I interrupt already knowing what he's going to say, with a grin and step into the elevator when the doors open. Theo doesn't say anything else instead he just huffs and flinches when he moves too quickly.

It only takes a few seconds for the elevator to stop on the eleventh floor. Theo and I decided to splurge and get a two bedroomed hotel room. There's a kitchen and living room in between them.

"Which room do you want?" Theo asks as he closes the door behind him. We take a few minutes to inspect both rooms, one seems to be day themed while the other is night themed. Both rooms have the perfect view of the crowded streets below.
