"I can't do this!" Tammy paces from one side of the room to the other. Gracie, Layla and I glance at each other with worried expressions, from our seats at the makeup station, we're not actually getting our makeup done, that was finished long ago, - Right now, t's champagne time. We're currently in a barn behind the ruins of a castle where Charlie and Tammy are having their wedding ceremony.
I step out of my chair and glance at myself in the mirror surrounded by lightbulbs, where the makeup artist has just done my makeup.
I look good.... but on to the more pressing matter.
"Hey Tam." I grip her trembling hands in mine. "Of course you can do this."
"I hate attention and I'm about to be the centre of the attention." She looks at me with frantic eyes and I realise I've never seen her look more nervous.
I squeeze her hands in an attempt at comforting her. "As soon as you step out there, all you're going to see the love of you life." I tell her with a proud smile on my face. "It'll feel like it's just you and him, you have nothing to worry about."
Tammy grins. "I cannot wait to marry him!"
"Livvy's right," Gracie walks towards us, soon followed by Layla. "you and Charlie are endgame, anyone who has half the love you two do, is very lucky."
"Thank you guys." Tammy smiles and her eyes water as she wraps us in a group hug. "I'm so lucky to have you all."
"Just like we're lucky to have you!" Layla responds just as the door opens and Tammys dad, Joe steps in.
"You girls ready?" He has his hand over his eyes. "Everyone decent?"
Tammy laughs. "We're all decent, dad."
He removes his hand from his face and gasps. "My baby! You look amazing."
"Aw, thanks dad!" Tammy grins, hugging her father. I smile at the loving moment between father and daughter, he's right Tammy does look amazing. Her blonde hair is in loose curls cascading past her shoulders while her amazing mermaid style wedding dress hugs her figure just perfectly, with just the perfect length of fabric flowing behind her.
