It's been a few weeks since Darcy's case. Thankfully my burns have healed but there are still a few scars remaining. Today's the day of the annual 'Evergreen Fair' which Tammy has persuaded me to go to.

"Come on Liv, it'll give you more of a chance to become friendly with everyone around here." She gave me puppy dog eyes from across the table.

"I'm pretty sure the locals won't want a newbie trying to invade on their fun." I took a swig from the beer Tammy had just bought for us.

Tammy huffed. "Seriously? I said you could get friendly with everyone, they all know you. You're a super start around here, everyone talks highly of you."

I raised my eyebrow in a look that said 'you're such a liar'.

"Ask anyone around this bar, you and Theo are hero's, everyone's rooting for you guys." When I frowned she lightly tapped her hand on the table. "Olivia you're coming, it'll be fun. Whatever bickering hatred thing you and Theo have going on can wait, in Evergreen we stick together."

I laugh to myself, remembering how she put me in my place. I double check my makeup and take one last deciding glance at my outfit and hair that's in loose waves.

The fairs on the Main Street of Evergreen, but veers off to the smaller ones. When I get there, stalls are set up with local people selling their produce. Even our department has a stall and that's where I'm betting everyone is, luckily majority of us got today off and the ones who didn't are probably having an out of office day - Tammy mentioned how seriously everyone took the fair and judging my the set up, she wasn't lying.

"Hey." I grin, walking towards our stall, I'm definitely feeling less like the new girl around here.

"You look amazing." Gracie grins. Clare and a few other people from higher up are giving talks to anyone who wants to hear them. "Green is definitely your colour."

I laugh. "It only took me like three hours to decide what to wear, I'm glad you approve."

"So what are you thinking of the fair?"
