"Wait so you're taking him clubbing?" Izzy asks me the next morning.

I nod. "It's just for a stupid bet we made when I first moved to Evergreen."

"About New York's clubs?"

"Theo thinks London's nightlife is better than New York's." I shake my head at his logic.

"Is he okay in the head? Of course the nightlife is better here!" She exclaims taking a sip of her coffee. We're currently at a local coffee shop we spent most of our teenage years in either studying or gossiping. Turns out Simon and Theo really hit it off last night and made their own plans to go watch some football today, meaning I could spend some quality time with Isabella.

"Thats exactly why I'm taking him out tonight." I grin at the fact she agrees with my side of the bet. "So hows your classes going?"

Izzy shrugs. "The worst, every class is a reminder of our upcoming exams, which they feel the need to remind us about every five minutes."

"So what are your plans for after?"

"That's yet to be figured out. I wish I was like you, you always knew you wanted to be an agent."

"You'll find your thing soon, don't worry."

"Hopefully." She shrugs. "So what are you planning on wearing tonight?"

"I'm probably gonna need to raid my wardrobe at my parents place and hope they haven't thrown my clothes out."

Izzy takes a few seconds to think. "I have this really cute white dress that I think would suit you."

"Can I borrow it?" I give her a pleading smile, even though I already know she'll let me.

"Of course you can."

I finish my coffee and glance at my watch. "Shit I'm supposed to be meeting mom and dad at their place in a few minutes!" I stand up and grab my keys. "You wanna come tonight?"

"Really? I won't be crashing your time with Theo?"

I shake my head. "You seriously think that? I'm here to spend time with my best friend too you know."

"I could meet you at your hotel, I'll bring the dress."

"Sounds good." I smile. "I'll text you the details."

I meet my parents at their place, thankfully I only ended up being a few minutes later then planned. We spend our time playing catch up and we also visit a few relatives that I haven't seen since I left.

I push the hotel room door open later that evening. Theo's stretched out on the couch watching some murder mystery show, he's wearing the same red basketball shirts as earlier but has decided to remove his white T-shirt. It takes me a few seconds to snap out of it when I let my eyes trail over the endless toned abs that occupy his olive toned skin. Some of the stitches he got at the hospital can still be seen but the bruises are fading pretty good.

"Like what you see?" He smirks and I roll my eyes at him.

"That's the most cliché line out there."

"Yeah but it doesn't sound the same if you say 'do you have a high admiration for my physique'." he jokes and I laugh at how stupid that sounds.

"Whatever, are you excited to go clubbing?" I grab a drink out of the fridge and plop down on the free couch.

"Can't wait." He grins. "I invited your brother, hope you don't mind."

I huff. "Please tell me you're joking." When Theo doesn't respond I elaborate. "I invited Isabella."
