One of my lovely friends on here just sent me a quote which kinda inspired me to write a little piece:

"My hope is that someone sees my page and decides not to give up"

I started this book a bit less than a year ago. At first I just wanted to get to know people on here more and share some things that were on my mind. But all of this quite quickly became something much bigger, much more special and precious to me.

I have always been honest will all of you about my struggles. You know more than my parents or some of my best friends do. And it's not because I don't trust them, but somehow this is just easier. Writing my thoughts and feelings down, not feelings pressured by anyone to share more or less than I want to.

I am a super negative person. All my friends know that and even if they don't tell me that straight up, I am sure that they still think so. But I have my reasons for that. So, when I first saw this quote, I wasn't even sure if it was fare for me to write something about it because I really don't know if i ever inspired anyone in that sense.

But!

What I can say, is that I hope that people who read this story just learn that, firstly, it's okay to be open and vulnerable. That we all feel things and that's normal and okay.

Secondly, if you feel like you need it and you have the opportunity to do it, ask for help. There is nothing bad or embarrassing about it. Yes, it's hard, you might take time to make that decision but if you really feel like it, do it. Think of it as a new skill. Instead of learning languages, for example, you learn about something else, about YOU. How everything
works in your body and head.

And thirdly, that kindness is one of the most important things. Be kind. Without a reason. Just send something nice or cute to someone just to brighten their day. Say I love you more often. Just show that you care.

It's a hard time right now, so I am sending love and warmth to everyone. Stay calm, stay safe and be kind.
