"Where is she?" Edmund said, his voice cracking as tears appeared in his eyes.

"I don't know Edmund." Peter said with a sigh.

"Did you guys see anyone else on the beach or in the ruins?" Edmund asked quickly.

"No, Ed." Peter said. "We are the only ones here."

"Maybe she's coming. She must be on her way if she isn't here yet.

"Edmund." Susan said gently, placing her hand on his shoulder and giving it a light squeeze.

"She lives in a whole different millennium then we do. Obviously, a substantial amount of time has passed in Narnia as well. In all honesty, I don't believe they're coming."

Edmund's eyes grew wide, and the tears were screaming at him to allow them to fall, but Edmund refused. He squeezed his eyes shut tight and pressed his lips together, hoping beyond all hope that Peter and Susan were wrong.

He opened his eyes as he let out a long sigh. He was about to say something, but before he could, Lucy spoke.

"What is with you guys?" She said.

The three turned to look at her, each with the same confused expression on their faces.

"Where is your faith? Where is your belief? We are in a different world for crying out loud! Animals talk here. A lion is the king! We are Kings and Queens here. We reigned for years as children. This is the place where humans are strange creatures. This is the place where miracles happen, and where magic is always in the air. We were whisked away from everyday life and brought to Narnia. So why shouldn't that happen for the Queens of Earth?"

Peter swallowed hard as he stared at Lucy.

Susan sighed and looked at the ground.

Edmund was looking at Lucy with just the smallest amount of hope in his eyes. He had a very small smile on his face, waiting for just the right moment to let it widen.

Lucy let out a small sigh as she walked over to Edmund.

She looked up st him, her eyes were kind, and full of hope, love, and determination.

Edmund also noticed that her face was more grown up. She was already in the stance of a queen. They had been there for mere hours, and she was already Queen Lucy the Valiant once again. (She always lived up to her title back in England, but it was just more obvious now.) Lucy looked as if she never left Narnia.

"They're coming Edmund." Lucy said. "Abby, Anna and Sydni are coming to Narnia. They are going to help us with whatever exciting adventure Aslan has in store for us, and it's going to be wonderful! I know they will come. I can feel it." Lucy smiled widely as she finished, staring at Edmund.

Edmund finally widened his smile, unable to keep it from coming. He was so, so proud of Lucy and everything she just said. He quickly wrapped his arms around Lucy as tightly as possible. Lucy returned the hug without hesitation.

"Thank you Lucy." Edmund said. "Thank you so much."

"Your welcome."

"Oh." Edmund said quickly before they pulled apart. "I can feel it too." Edmund whispered in her ear.

Lucy's smile widened as she pulled away.

"You can?" She asked quickly."

"Yup." Edmund replied.

"Right here." He said, putting his finger on Lucy's heart.

"Me too." Lucy choked

"When I am far away from her, I feel a big hole in my heart. That's the piece that belongs to no one except Abby. Now; that piece is shrinking, and it hurts a lot less. That's how I know she is coming."
