Edmund gasped as his eyes went wide, and he paled considerably. "Where is she?!" He asked quickly.

"Outside." Sydni breathed quickly. "A little ways away from The How."

Edmund sprinted from the room as quickly as he could. Sydni was right behind him, followed by his siblings.

As he came closer to her, Edmund saw Anna sitting next to Abby and tightly gripping her hand. She also appeared to be crying.

Anna looked up at him, eyes going wide as she did. "Ed?!" She asked, in shock.

"Aslan let me come back." He said quickly, too worried to explain any further.

Edmund quickly knelt beside Abby - followed shortly after by Sydni and his siblings - and grabbed her hand. "Abby?" He said quickly.

She didn't stir.

"Abby?!" He asked again, shaking her slightly. "Abby wake up." But still, she lay there, not moving.

Edmund held his breath as he watched Abby's chest, fear and hope filling his eyes. He let out a relieved sigh as he saw her chest slowly rise and fall a moment later. Slowly. Too slowly.

"Something's wrong." Edmund said. "What happened?" He asked quickly.

Anna looked up at him. "I have no idea!" She exclaimed. "We came out here to look for her this morning and found her like this."

"She doesn't look injured or anything." Edmund said slowly, looking her over.

He frowned a moment later. "She's pale though. His eyes widened slightly a moment later. "And thin! Really thin! Has she eaten anything?!" He asked quickly.

"We tried to get her to eat." Sydni said. "She wouldn't."

Edmund sighed sadly as he looked down at Abby. "Has she at least slept?" He asked after a moment. Although when he saw the dark circles under her eyes he was pretty sure he knew the answer.

"Not that any of us have seen." Anna said sadly.

Tears filled Edmund's eyes. "Oh, Abby" he choked, brushing her hair from her eyes. Realizing just how much his death had affected her, he sighed. "She must have passed out cause she hasn't been sleeping or eating." He said sadly.

"Will she be alright?" Lucy asked worriedly.

"She will be." Edmund said slowly. "She just needs food and rest. We need to get her inside though."

The others nodded as Edmund said this, Anna let go of her hand.

Edmund lifted Abby off of the ground and into his arms, as if she weighed nothing - and compared to the last time he saw her, she did.

Abby's head fell against Edmund's shoulder as she fell limp in his arms. Not moving in the slightest.

Edmund sighed sadly as he looked down at her, gently kissing the top of her head. "Come on Abby." He said. "Let's get you inside."

Edmund stared at Abby as she lay in her hammock a few minutes later. He tightly held her hand in his as he gently stroked her hair.

"How's she been?" He asked Peter, after about five minutes of silence. "You know, since - what happened."

Peter sighed. "I didn't really see her much until just yesterday. That's when I finally felt like I could have a conversation without bursting into tears." He swallowed hard, shaking his head before continuing. "Sydni told me it was like - like she had no emotions. And I could kind of tell with how she spoke to me yesterday, it was in her voice. Infinite pain and heartache. She said it was like she was dying, but nobody was there to save her."
