Edmund tried for so long to change Abby's mind. To make her believe he truly loved her. But he had no success. She refused to speak to him after her speech about him loving Alaska, and her still loving him, but somehow being alright. He eventually surrendered and returned to his own spot.
He lay there, crying. His tears were hot, and silent, not even he himself could hear them. But how he felt them. His chest ached more and more as each tear fell. His heart shattered. This felt like a horrid nightmare, and he wanted nothing more than to wake up and be told it was all over. But, an awakening never came, only more sorrow. Eventually, after hours of crying, his eyelids felt heavy, and sleep overtook him.
Although Edmund didn't know it, Abby did the same thing. She pretended to be asleep until he left her. Then, she let her tears fall. She could force them in no longer, she did that for too long back home. Now it was an impossible task. She cried for herself. She cried for Edmund. She cried for Alaska. But those tears, were of sorrow nor sadness. They were of anger, fury even, rage, and hatred. Alaska tried to kill her, which was awful. But it didn't hurt as bad as the pain she felt now. The pain of losing her other half, of not being loved the same way in return. Drowning, rather than losing Edmund would have hurt less. She would have rather drowned in the ocean that day than lose her one true love.
These thoughts lay heavily on her mind for hours. The tears, falling silent and hot along with them. Eventually, she cried until there were no tears left, her body had no strength to continue crying. As the crying ceased, she slowly fell asleep.

"Well, isn't this a lovely sight."
Edmund's eyes shot open. He recognized that voice immediately. It was cold, and angry. Yet, spoke in a sickly sweet tone. He never thought he would her that voice again. He never wanted to hear the voice again. But somehow he heard it right now. He slowly looked up to be met with the face he hoped to only see again in his nightmares.
"Alaska." He said, sitting up.
The second Abby saw Alaska, she quickly sat up, backing away in fear.
By now everyone had awoken, seeing none other than the newest version of The White Witch. All eyes were wide, and filled with, fear, and anger."What do you want?" Edmund asked slowly. His eyes held a determination.
"Not the nicest tone for someone who wants to kill you." She said.
Edmund swallowed hard. Alaska began looking around at the group. She smiled at the fear and anger on their faces, especially on Abby's. When she looked at the girl, her eyes stopped.
"Funny." She said looking into Abby's eyes. "I thought I killed you."
Abby swallowed hard, staring at her.
"It appears, my soldiers failed their simple task. I'll have to punish them." She paused for a moment, smirking.
"Anyway." She breathed, eyeing the entire group. "As you all probably know, I am Alaska." She smiled, a cruel smile.
"Don't bother introducing yourselves, I already know you all. But allow me to formally introduce myself.
As I said, my name is Alaska. I am the one and only daughter of Jadis, The true Queen, of Narnia. My sole purpose in life is to kill the traitor - Edmund Pevensie. That's actually the only reason I was born, to seek out revenge for my mother. I've been trying to kill Edmund for years. One day, I wrote him a letter, and he wrote me back. We wrote for a while, and somewhere in the process, I fell for him. My mistake right?" She laughed."Eventually, he broke my heart, like all men do. So, I needed revenge. What better way to hurt him than by killing his beloved wife?" She smirked, an evil smirk, at Abby.
"My plan was - kill the wife to hurt Edmund, and avenge myself. Then, I kill Edmund to avenge my mother. That's also just a bonus for me." She smirked. "But somehow, Abby is still alive. I guess I will have to change that.""Don't touch her!" Edmund said quickly.
"Oh, don't worry, I'm going to do a lot more than touch her."
Edmund's eyes filled with fury and his face became red as a tomato. "You little-"
"Guards!" Alaska shouted.
Before Edmund could blink two guards pulled Abby off the ground and held her tightly by the arms.
She gasped as her eyes went wide in fear. She tried to get away, but it was useless, they were too strong.
"Abby!" Edmund shouted, as he went to run and help her.
"Stop!" Alaska shouted. "Edmund stopped dead, knowing this woman was relentless. If he didn't listen, it could cost Abby her life.
Alaska walked over to Abby, placing a dagger to her neck, and pressing down slightly. "One person moves, she dies."
Everyone froze.
"What do you want Alaska?!" Edmund demanded.
"I want her! And I assure you I will have her!"
"Take me!" Edmund said quickly.
"What?" Abby said, shocked.
"Take me! You can have me as your prisoner. Do whatever you want to me, but don't touch her."
"Edmund no!" His siblings said at the same time. He just ignored them. He had to protect Abby. He couldn't let anything happen to her. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he did.
"Take. Me."
"Edmund." Abby choked, tears in her eyes.
Alaska smiled an evil smile as she laughed. "As you wish." She said.
With a snap of her fingers, the three of them, along with the guards, were gone.

Edmund looked around, immediately recognizing where he was, he felt a chill run up and down his spine. But his eyes suddenly went wide.
"Abby?" He whispered in disbelief, as he saw her. She sadly looked up at him, tears in her eyes as the guards still held her tightly.
Edmund turned to Alaska, infuriated. "You said-"
"I never said anything! You said everything! You said you wanted to be my prisoner. You said to take you, so I did. I never said I wouldn't take you both."
Edmund's breathing became heavy as he stared at her in anger. His eyes were filled with fury.
"Don't worry, Edmund. This will be loads more fun with both of you here." Alaska said. "Much more fun than my original plan. Well, fun for me at least. Probably not for you guys."
"Guards!!!" Alaska shouted. "Take them to the dungeons. After that, bring me the guards who were supposed to kill Abby. I've got a sword to the heart waiting for them."
Abby's eyes went wide as she stared at Alaska. Truly realizing what a monster she really was. Knowing that this would not be an enjoyable time for her or Edmund.
