Peter took a deep breath as he quietly closed the door to the castle behind him. Susan had just made it out a few moments before, she stood a few feet away.
Anna, Lucy, and Sydni were watching the front doors, but they still stayed hidden, just to be safe. The second they saw Peter they came out and ran up to him.
"What happened?" Lucy asked quickly but quetly. But a moment later she gasped, seeing Abby in Peter's arms.
"Abby?" Anna choked, eyes wide.
Sydni looked at her friend, her heart broke as she saw the condition she was in.
"Peter, what happened?" She asked."She's only unconscious, don't worry." Peter replied. "But we need to get out of here. Now!"
"What about Edmund?" Lucy asked quickly.
"I gave him the pins, he'll get out. Come on."

"This should be good." Peter said.
They were far enough away from the castle so they wouldn't get caught, but close enough for Edmund to find them easily when he made it out.
Peter gently lay Abby down, sitting her against a large tree.
Each of them sat around her.
"What happened to her?!" Sydni asked quickly.
"And why is her hair white?" Anna asked, stroking her snow-white hair.
"Edmund thinks Alaska placed some sort of spell on her or something."
"Her skin feels like ice." Anna said, tears appearing in her eyes.
"I know." Peter said, swallowing hard. "Edmund thinks...she's dying."
"What?!" Anna and Sydni said in unison.
"Why does he think she's dying?" Lucy asked.
"I mean, look at her!" Peter said. "Her skin and hair are like ice. Her breathing sounds absolutely awful. She's terribly beaten and bruised."
"How's Edmund?" Susan asked. "How badly is he hurt?" She said slowly.
Peter thought for a moment. "Actually, he didn't look hurt at all." He said.
"He didn't have any injuries ?" Lucy asked.
"None that I saw. He looked fine. I mean, he was in a-" Peter swallowed hard before continuing. "-Prison cell made of ice. So, obviously he looked cold, and way too skinny. He looked absolutely exhausted. Physically and emotionally. But, as far as physical injuries go, I don't think he has any."
"Then why does Abby have so many?" Sydni asked. "Why would Alaska hurt her, but not hurt Edmund? She said she wanted both of them dead."
"I'm not sure." Peter said slowly.

Meanwhile, Edmund was in his cell, trying his hardest to unlock the door. It had been about ten minutes since he started. He had never exactly used a bobby pin to unlock anything. Actually, he had never used a bobby pin at all. Needless to say, he was having a bit of trouble.
"Come on!" He muttered. "Almost..." Suddenly he heard a click and let out a gasp. "Got it." He breathed, a smile on his face.
He sighed warmly as he quietly stood up, opening the door just far enough for him to slip out. He then took the bobby pin out of the lock and placed it in his pocket.
