"Abbs?" Sydni said, as she and Anna quietly walked up behind her. She was still on the balcony overlooking the beach, and looked as if she was deep in thought.
Abby gasped slightly as she turned around."Hey." She breathed.
"You okay?" Sydni asked, walking up to her and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah." Abby nodded.
"Just...memories." She sighed.
Anna sighed before walking over to Abby, hugging her tightly.
"You will see him again." She said quietly. "I know you will. I can feel it in my heart."
Abby smiled as the two pulled away. "Thanks Anna." She said.
"Your story is not over, its only just beginning." Sydni said.
Abby smiled widely and wrapped her arms around her friend. "I love you." She said.
"Love you too."
Abby took a deep breath as she pulled away. "I love you too Anna."
Anna smiled.
"I know you do. And, I love you."
Abby smiled back.
"Now." Sydni breathed.
"You want to go look in the treasure chamber?"
"Yeah." Abby said, nodding with a smile. "Let's go."
♕ ♕ ♕
"Ed?"
Edmund turned to see his older brother standing in the doorway.
Peter took a deep breath."Susan and Lucy are ready. We are going to go explore the beach. See if we can find anyone."
Edmund nodded. "I'll be out in a minute."
Peter nodded. "You sure your alright Edmund?"
Edmund took a deep breath. "I'm fine."
"Okay." Peter said after a moment, before leaving.
Edmund took one last look at the chest, making sure nothing else valuable was inside. He then sighed before slowly closing the chest, grabbing his bag, and leaving.
"Ready Ed?" Lucy asked him as walked up to his siblings.
"Ready." He said with a small smile.
"Great." Susan said."Let's go."
The four of them made their way through the old rooms, up the stairs, and out the door.
They started to head back the way they came, but suddenly Susan spoke up.
"Hey." She said, her siblings turning around."I planted a garden of daffodils behind here before we left Narnia. Can we check them out?"
"Sounds fun." Lucy said with a smile.
"Sure." Peter said, chuckling slightly.
The four then headed behind the building and out to the gardens.
And at the same time, three girls were made their way towards the place the Pevensies had left only moments ago.
