Chapeter 14 - He Did

"Where is she?!" Sydni practically screamed. "We have been searching this beach for over an hour. We have been up and down the entire beach more times than I can count. There is nothing, and no one here. What in the world happened?"

"I don't know." Anna said, shaking her head. "How could she just disappear without a trace?"

Sydni sighed, before stopping and turning to face the ocean. Anna did the same.

After a couple minutes of silence Sydni took a deep breath.

"Where are the Pevensies?" She said.

"Closer than you think."

Anna and Sydni's eyes suddenly went wide and the glanced at each other before quickly turning around.

Sydni came face to face with the one person she longed to see for so long. Peter Pevensie.

He stood there with a smug grin on his face.

"Hi, Sydni." He said smiling.

"Peter!" She said, flying into his arms.

Peter laughed as he hugged her back tightly.

"I missed you." She whispered in his ear.

"I missed you too." He choked.

"Anna!" Lucy cried, beaming as she ran into her friends arms.

Anna smiled widely as she practically lifted Lucy into her arms. Squeezing her as tightly as ever.

"Hey Lucy!" She said happily with a laugh.

"I missed you!"

"Well, I missed you more." Anna said with a chuckle, before releasing the young girl.

Lucy smiled at Anna before giggling slightly. She then ran to Sydni and wrapped her arms tightly around her neck, Peter having barely just let go of her.

"Hi Sydni." Lucy said excitedly.

"Hiiii!" Sydni said with a wide smile, hugging her tightly.

"Hi Susan." Anna said as she walked up to Susan, hugging her tightly.

"Hey Anna." Susan said with a smile.

A few moments later everyone pulled apart. They were all met with the sight of Edmund staring at them.

He swallowed hard, looking at everyone once again, before checking his surroundings one last time. His eyes were filled with fear, but a glimmer of hope still shone through.

"Edmund what's wrong?" Anna asked.

"Where is she?!" He said quickly.

Anna and Sydni slowly looked at each other, their eyes filled with sadness, taking a deep breath.

"Where is Abby?!!?"

Abby's head was spinning as she tried to take in the information she was just given. Although with her bleeding neck, and pounding head it came as no easy task. Not to mention the other countless injuries that filled her body. And she had attained even more since hearing Alaska's story.

"Well, I suppose that's enough." Alaska said, as she finally stopped the torture.

"Now." she said. "I told you my story, so why don't you tell me yours."

"Don't you already know it?" Abby said.

"Now what would make you think that?"

"You know my name, you know I'm married to Edmund. You want to kill me. You seem like someone who does her research. So I'm sure you have learned everything possible about Edmund, me, and our relationship."

"Smart girl. But I want to hear it from your lips."

Abby took a deep breath.

"I came to Narnia a year ago...my time at least. I met Edmund. We fell in love with each other. I had to leave, he had to stay. So we married each other the night before I left. I was sent home the next day and haven't seen him since."

"Long story short, I suppose." Alaska said. "I guess that's all your willing to give me. I have a question for you." An evil smirk made its way onto her face.

Abby only stared at her.

"Did you ever find love?" She asked.

Abby swallowed hard, saying nothing.

"You see, Edmund -your husband- he did."

Abby swallowed hard, glaring at Alaska.

"He loved me. We became friends, and slowly fell for one another. We could have been happy together. I loved him enough to be with him, rather than kill him like I was destined to. I would have given that up for him. But then, he broke my heart. All because he was married."

She took a deep breath, her eyes filling to the core with absolute rage.

"To you! All because he was married TO A GIRL FROM ANOTHER WORLD!!! He couldn't be with me! He is loyal I'll give him that. But, loyal or not, he broke my heart. And he broke it because of you. So, now I will kill you."

She said the last part slowly, as she walked up to Abby.

Abby stared at her, her heart pounding in her chest, as her entire body filled with fear.

"But I already have enough of your blood on my hands. I want Edmund's now. So I'm not personally going to kill you. I'll have my soldiers do it."

She finished with a smile.

"Guards!" She yelled, snapping her fingers.

  A second later two large guards were at her side. "Yes your majesty." One said.

"I want you to take this girl to the ocean. Keep her hands and ankles tied together. Place a heavy brick in her hands so she can't swim, then throw her into the water."

"Understood your majesty." The other guard replied.

Alaska then slowly walked over to Abby, smirking. She slowly placed the gag back in her mouth.

"You made my life miserable." She said. "Now, I am going to end yours. Which will make Edmund - who broke my heart - miserable. Then I will kill him, and my life will be complete." She said with an evil smile.

"Nighty night, Abby." She said before hitting her in the head with her dagger, knocking her out.

She then turned back to the soldiers.

"Make sure she is awake when you drown her. I want her to feel every, single, ounce, of pain."

A/N: The Pevensies are with Sydni & Anna! Now if we could just figure out how to get Edmund & Abby together???🤔🤔🤔🤔 IMPORTANT!!!!
