Ch 20

Caitlin pov
I woke up to my phone ringing. I tried ignoring it tossing away from my phone. But it kept ringing. Groaning I pulled my phone towards me.
"Hello?" I said bitterly.
"Hey Snowflake did I wake you?" Liam asked through the phone.
"Yes" I replied.
"Oh I'm sorry I thought we were suppose to meet at Jitters today remember?" He asked.
"Oh crap!" I exclaimed shooting up from my bed into a sitting position.
"I almost forgot that you have the memory of a child" he laughed.
"No I don't" I snapped back.
"You do Snowflake" he emphasized.
"I'm sorry. I'll be at Jitters in 30 minutes. I'm sorry" I apologize.
"No worries. There's a long line anyway. You want me to order you anything?" He asked kindly.
"Oh umm no that's fine Li. I'm actually bringing some friends with me is that okay?" I asked.
"Yes that's totally fine. See ya in bit" he said.
"Okay bye" I said tossing my phone in my bed and walking towards the guest room Bar was staying in.
I've decided to call Future Barry 'Bar'. I asked him if he was okay with me calling him that and he laughed and smiled letting me it was fine.
"Bar wake up!" I said marching into his room.
"Nooooo" Bar whined placing a pillow over his head.
"Bar we need to go to Jitters I forgot I had to meet someone and they're waiting for me" I complain trying to tug the covers.
"I'm a speedster you go get ready and come back for me when you're done. I'll be done before you finish calling my name" he reasoned snuggling into the bed.
"Fine" I groaned leaving his room.

20 minutes later
"Bar!" I called out walking in his room and I saw a red flash around the room.
"I'm ready" he said standing in front of me rubbing his eyes, his hair was still messy.
"Yeah I can see that" I said running my hands through his hair trying to untangle his bed hair.
"You know me, always punctual" He grinned playfully.
"Talking about punctuality, use your speed to take us to Jitters, I can't afford 30 minutes of driving today" I said walking out of his room with him following close behind me.
"Wow look at you actually asking me to use my speed" he said impressed.
"What? Do I not ask you to do that in the future?" I question
"Oh you definitely do, you just never asked me in this timeline" he laughed.
"Specially when the kids were small, using my super speed to change their diapers was truly a blessing" he exclaimed.
"I'm sure" I rolled my eyes in amusement.
"Oh trust me, you won't be rolling your eyes when you need to change Dawn's diapers" he grinned.
"Okay okay enough spoiling the future. Let's go to Jitters" I said before he picked me up bridal style
"Your wish is my command Doctor Snow" he winked flashing us to Jitters.
"Dawn is not here yet that's weird" I mentioned as I looked around for her.
"Yeah she's usually freakishly punctual" Barry commented.
"Caitlin! Barry!" I heard Dawn voice call out from behind us.
As I turned around I saw Dawn standing next to Liam.
"Dawn" I smiled looking back and  forth between Liam and her.
"Hey Snowflake" Liam greeted with a warm smile approaching me with two cups in his hands. He hugged me the best he could with his hands being preoccupied.
"Hi Li" I greeted hugging him carefully trying not to make him spill the drinks in his hands.
"This one is for you. I know you told me not to get you anything but I remembered you like hot chocolates so I got you one" he smiled kindly handing me one of the cups.
"He got her a hot chocolate how sweet!" Dawn said overly cheerfully.
"It is" Bar agreed eyeing him suspiciously.
"Hi I'm Liam" he greeted Bar with a handshake.
"I'm Barry" He shook his hand firmly.
"Nice to meet you mate" he said warmly.
"I didn't know your friend was Australian" Dawn commented.
"Oh yeah" I said with a small smile.
"I was waiting for you guys and Liam was here too" Dawn commented.
"What a coincidence" I laughed obviously seeing right through Dawn's intentions
"Straight out of a movie" Bar agreed giving Dawn a discreet pointed look.
"Li do you want to discuss your project now while they go get their breakfast?" I asked.
"You know what? I have to head to a meeting right now. Let's just meet for lunch another day that way we can catch up and talk business" he offered.
"That sounds great. I'm sorry again for forgetting about our breakfast thing" I said.
"No worries Snowflake. I'll text you" he said giving me a kiss on the cheek.
Not in a romantic or flirty way, that has always been a thing he does, a part of his upbringing.
"It was nice meeting you two" Liam said turning towards Bar and Dawn.
"Likewise" Bar said while Dawn smiled tightly.
Once Liam had left Dawn begin her rant.
"Did he seriously kiss mom on the cheek!? On the freaking cheek?Who does he think he is?" Dawn claimed turning towards Bar.
"Dawn stop. It's too early and I haven't even had coffee yet" Bar whined covering his ears.
"You should be the one getting mad, he kissed your wife!" Dawn exclaimed.
"So if I'm not mad. What does that tell you?" Bar inquired.
"That you're crazy!" Dawn started.
"No Dawn! It means I trust your mother" Bar said rolling his eyes.
"Guys I'm right here! Please try not to talk about me as if I weren't standing right next to you" I said rolling my eyes playfully blushing at Bar sweet statement.
"Cait is right. Now stop with your jealous shenanigans. Otherwise you will have future mom to answer to" He warned.
"I am the fruit of your love, I'm just trying to keep it that way. I don't want good old Australian dude to swoop mom off her feet and cease my existence" Dawn claimed.
"What Australian dude?" I heard a familiar voice ask.
"Cisco?" I exclaimed seeing him.
"Hey guys!" He waved approaching us, as he did I saw Barry walked not far behind him.
"Oh hey future Barry!" Cisco greeted.
"Hey Cisco" he smiled.
"I would do the bro handshake but I feel like I would be betraying Barry" Cisco added.
"Really?" I claimed rolling my eyes.
"You can't betray Barry with Barry" I determined.
"I know but what if I like Future Barry better than real Barry?" Cisco inquired.
"Hey" Barry whined.
"Sorry buddy, you know you're my only real best friend" Cisco said wrapping his arm around Barry.
"Excuse you?" I exclaimed at his statement.
"Best GUY friend" he clarified.
"Much better" I smiled satisfied.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked Cisco and Barry.
"What are you guys doing here?" Cisco asked.
"I asked first" I replied.
"We just came by to get our daily ounce of coffee" Cisco exclaimed
"How did your meeting go?" Barry asked casually.
"He kissed her" Dawn exclaimed making Cisco almost spit his coffee. Barry's eyes widen in surprise.
"On the cheek" Bar and I clarified simultaneously.
"Girl! Next time be specific. You almost made me waste perfectly good coffee" Cisco emphasized turning towards Dawn.
"He was trying to charm her the whole time" Dawn continues ignoring Cisco
"He barely said two full sentences to me Dawn. We had to reschedule, I got here kinda late and he had to go to a meeting" I explained.
"You running late?" Cisco exclaimed utterly shock.
"I fell asleep" I reasoned.
"Since when is Miss 'I'm never late' late?" Cisco questioned.
"Barr and I watched 2 of the Harry Potter movies yesterday and we went to bed kinda late" I reasoned.
"You finished the movies without me?" Dawn whined.
"I'm sorry" I smiled innocently.
"That's just rude" Dawn said while giving me a soft smile.
"Right. Uh anyways Cisco and I have to go to CCPD to work on some CSI case" Barry said in a slightly bitter tone.
I gave him a puzzled look before answering.
"I thought you didn't work on Saturday's" I asked.
"Joe needs me today" Barry shrugged.
"See you guys later" Cisco waved.
"So does this mean we're not going home today?" Dawn asked hopeful.
"Guess not" I replied with a soft smile.
My heart was so happy about that.
I get to spend a day with my family.
