Caitlin pov After Cisco dropped me off at home, I decided to take a shower and take a nap because I was not only physically tired but also emotionally exhausted. I made sure to leave my phone on the nightstand in case someone needed me and called. Soon after my shower I snuggled in bed and drifted off into a deep sleep. *** Surprisingly enough I woke up from the persistent sound of someone knocking. I groaned slightly shifting in bed before fluttering my eyes opened and glaring at the direction of the noise. "I can't take one day off" I mumbled to myself shaking my head while lifting the covers and walking downstairs. I checked my camera footage to identify the individual that had interrupted my sleep. Liam? I ran a hand through my hair before swinging the door open and greeting him with a soft smile. "Hi" I greeted looking up at him. "Hello darling" He greeted kissing my cheek while I shift to let him in. "What are you doing here?" I questioned curiously. "Cisco asked me to pick you up. He said something about a party we're attending" he smiled at me while my eyes widen after completely forgetting about the gathering. "Shoot I totally forget about that" I replied rubbing my forehead. "I can tell. Were you sleeping?" He questioned a slight chuckle escaping his lips. "As a matter of fact yes I was and you woke me up" I said proudly giving him a mocking glare. "I truly apologize love. Good thing I woke you up though otherwise we would be very late for this party of yours" He added amusingly. "Shut up" I laughed. "I'll go change. Help yourself to anything here. Mi casa es tu casa" I smiled at him walking upstairs. "Gracias" he smiled sheepishly grabbing some water and sitting down in my living room. After deciding on wearing a simple and flowing dress, I quickly dressed and paired them with a pair of heels.

I decided not to wear to much makeup so I simply just added some lip gloss and mascara. I grabbed a small purse and my honor and headed downstairs. "Alright let's go I don't want to be the last there" I said as Liam stood and walked towards me to help me in the last few stairs. "You look gorgeous" he complimented kindly. "Thank you" I smiled as we both made our way to the door. After I locked my house we made our way to his car and I gasped at the sight in front of me. "This car is absolutely stunning" I gasped admiring it. "I've never seen you so in love. Do you two need a moment?" Liam joked pointing back and forth between me and the car. "Very funny" I deadpan. "Don't drool too much" he added laughing at me.

"Are you kidding? How can I not? It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" I admired as he opened the door for me. "This is so luxurious" I gasped in shock "It's alright" he shrugged indifferently. "That's about the richest statement I've ever heard coming from you" I retired chuckling at him. "No I mean it's a nice car but these things don't really matter if you have no one to share it with. I like the company better" he smiled offering me a soft wink. "Well I like this car better" I joked returning his wink with one of my own. "You're saying you're with me for my money?" He joked placing a hand over his heart while speaking over dramatically. "What can I say? I'm a gold digger" I laughed flipping my hair. "How could you?" He exclaimed in a poorly imitated girly voice. "It is what it is" I shrugged indifferently. "I can't believe you" he said wiping fake tears away before we both starting laughing hysterically. The whole ride there we spent laughing over silly things but I really enjoyed myself and so did he. "We're here. Let's go my lady" Liam said walking towards my passage r side and opening my door and stretching his hand to help me out. "What a gentleman. Thank you kind Sir" I said grabbing his hand and getting out. "Anytime love" he winked. Iris and Barry were waiting for us in the lobby and Iris smiled once she saw us approaching them. "I'm glad you could make it" she smiled towards Liam and greeted me with a hug. "Wouldn't miss it" He smiled kindly. "Barry" Liam greeted kindly shaking his hand firmly. "Hi" he smiled lightly. "Let's go" Iris offered excitedly grabbing Barry's arm while Liam and I followed behind them. I wrapped my hands around Liam's arm for support and he offered a soft smile. We made small talk on our way to the elevator. "I love your dress" Iris complimented admiring it and I blushed thanking her. "It's so beautiful" he smiled. "Thank you" I smiled gratefully and I could feel Barry scanning through dress and smiling in agreement with a smirk which made my blush deepened "We need to go shopping with Cecile soon" He commented. "I would love that" I laughed and so did she. "I decided to leave the cooking up to Dad and save you guys from the torture that is my cooking" Iris laughed blushing while Liam chuckled and I smiled. "I think your food is wonderful" I offered kindly. "I love you Caitlin but we all know I can't cook to save my life" She argued smirking. "I think you're getting so much better" I encouraged smiling. "At least one of us thinks so" she laughed playfully glaring at Barry. "You've obviously never tasted her famous food chocolate chip pancakes" Barry joked smirking at Iris. "Hey! They're not that bad" Iris joked slapping his arm playfully. "Iris! Babe I love you" Barry offered rubbing her upper arms lovingly before continuing "I'm just glad one of us can cook" Barry finished before she gasped and pushed him away. "Barry Allen!" She laughed. "If It's any consolation I can't cook either" Liam offered laughing. "You can cook" I defended looking up at him. "No I can't" he smiled at me. "Yes you can" I offered. "You genuinely like my cooking?" He laughed. "Yes" I said honestly. "You'd be the first" he chuckled. "I'm sure Cisco agrees with me" I offered. "I gave him food poisoning" he laughed and Iris did too. "Well-you-you did" I admitted in defeat. "Thanksgiving 2008" he smiled fondly at the memory. "Maybe just leave the turkey prepping up to me" I smiled. "Oh yeah I tried that last year didn't go so well for me either" Iris commented as si laughed at the memory. "Oh yes I remember. You really tried though" I laughed. "Good thing Barry told my dad that I was attempting to cook thanksgiving dinner and he had a backup dinner prepared" Iris smiled. "Joe really is a hero" I laughed.
