Caitlin pov
"Hey Li" I smiled walking towards and he kissed my cheek tenderly pulling out my chair for me.
"How are you doing Snowflake?" He asked softly walking towards his chair and sitting down in front of me with concern.
"I'm doing much better I'm starting to remember things, I just get glimpses of events here and there but at least it's something" I voice looking around me at my favorite restaurant that I've only managed to ever get a reservation while working for Harris Wells(at a celebration ceremony).
"I got really scared when my assistant informed me of the accident. I tried contacting NYPD so they could give me some more information but they said that all the information was classified. They wouldn't even tell me what hospital you were being treated at" He explained.
"Well I was attacked by a meta so they were doing their best to keep me safe" I reassured.
"I know but it really drove me crazy not knowing if you were okay" he sighed I'm relief.
"Well I'm okay Liam don't worry" I smiled softly.
"So Snowflake how's Cisco?" He asked smiling shifting the topic to a more friendly and lighthearted one.
"He's doing alright. He's been trying to help me cope with my amnesia" I smiled.
"Well Cisco Ramon always was a gentleman's with the ladies" Liam winked suggestively at me.
"Oh no. It's not like that. Cisco and I are more like brother and sister" I laughed at his horrible deduction skills
"Oh really? I thought you two were together. I just assumed since you guys are literally each other's walking shadows that you guys were a couple" he laughed lightly.
"No. We're close. We've both been there for each other through our rock bottom. We've helped each other push past horrible circumstances. We're a family and I love him but platonically" I smiled.
"Cisco is engaged Liam" I added happily.
"Oh wow! I can't believe Rapunzel is engaged!" He laughed humorously.
"I know I'm so excited" I smiled widely. Liam fazed at my smile and chuckled not taking his eyes off of me.
"What?" I asked touching my face to make sure I didn't have anything on it.
"I've just missed you. I've missed your smile" he smiled tenderly at me.
"I've missed you too" I smiled kindly at him.
"It's your fault. You went back to Australia with Skyler" I added jokingly
"Well I thought she was the one Snowflake. I thought I would spend the rest of my life with her" he frowned slightly.
"Turns out not everyone is as honest and selfless as you" He said softly.
"I'm sorry" I whispered reaching for his hand.
"Don't be. I'm glad she cheated on me with Jake. Otherwise I would've married a fraction of my own imagination" He smiled placing his hand on top of mine.
"So Snowflake are you hungry?" He questioned and I smiled brightly.
"Yes food is the love of my life" I declared proudly.
"I come a close second right?" He asked.
"I only got room in my heart for one" I stated simply and we both burst out laughing
People at the restaurant glared at us from all directions giving us discerning looks. Some of them rolling their eyes distastefully.
"But if I give you food wouldn't I be the love of your life?" Liam questioned with a playful glint in his eyes.
"Well I could give myself food" I reasoned smiling.
"Fine. I give up no one loves me" Liam pouts jokingly.
"Don't worry I'm sure Daniel from high school still Jake lads an obsessive crush over you" I laughed at the memory.
"That was not a fun year" he laughed shaking his head.
"Thinking back on it now, it was extremely scary. I mean... he tried kidnapping you twice?" I said counting the occurrences in my head.
"Three times actually. Remember I called you from inside his trunk. You came looking for me with almost what looked like a SWAT team" he laughed at the memory.
"Well I didn't know if he was armed or worse maybe even given you the kiss of death" I giggled shrugging.
"He reached out to me a few years ago and apologized for being creepy" he laughed.
"He did?" I asked.
"Yes but I still have a restraining order against him" he laughed.
"It's crazy how–" I started talking before Liam horrifyingly stared at someone behind me and tackled me to the ground.
It took me a second to realize what was happening.
Glass was shattering, people were screaming, people were running. There was chaos everywhere.
I saw a meta human standing on a table destroying the restaurant with a heat vision similar to Supergirl's.
"Are you okay? Are you okay? Caitlin?" Liam said desperately wiping my hair off my face to check for injuries.
"I'm okay I'm okay. You need to get out of here!" I said looking at him while reaching for my phone to sent an alert.
Cisco showed me how to work it a few weeks back. He told me to use if it I was ever in danger. I think this definitely qualifies as danger.
"No no are you crazy? I'm not gonna leave yo–" Liam argued before a flash of red appeared and Liam vanished.
"Cait! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Barry asked worriedly placing a hand on my cheek and turning it softly so that I could face him.
"She has heat vision just like Kara" I explained pointing at the meta.
"Heat versus Cold. I can take this bitch" Frost said confidently.
"I can take her" I told Barry looking at him voicing Frost's thoughts.
"No! What? Are you crazy Cait? You can't even remember half of your life let alone how to fight a a meta" Barry argued.
I felt myself loose control and Frost take over.
"Don't worry Flash. I'm still a badass" Frost winked striking the meta with a cold blast.
"You know Supergirl does this heat vision thing much much better. It is honestly so embarrassing to watch you" Frost said cockily as the meta angrily blasted heat vision towards her.
"Oh sweetie we gotta work on that aim. Maybe I can call Supergirl and have her kick your ass." she smirked as the meta aggressively approached her before knocking her out.
"Or maybe not" Frost said smoothly rolling her eyes.
"She's all yours Flash" Frost said smirking at him before giving me full control.
"What the hell" I whispered staring at an amused Barry giving me or rather Frost a sly smirk.
