Barry pov
I went looking for Caitlin and found her looking through some lab reports.
She was so focused that she didn't hear me come in and I had to awkwardly clear my throat to catch her attention.
As she realized it was me her gaze turned into a angry glare and she rolled her eyes ever so slightly before going back to analyzing her labs.
"Cait can we talk?" I asked softly approaching her.
"It's Caitlin. And we have nothing to talk about" she said sternly not taking her off her labs.
"I need to apologize to you for my outburst. I was out of place and way too harsh" I apologized.
" What I share and do not share with Liam is none of your business. I am not your kid and you do not tell me what I can and cannot do. If I want Liam to take me to work every day, that is my problem not yours. I would never betray anyone even if that person is you" she said bitterly standing up to meet my eye level.
"Caitlin I'm sorry" I whispered sincerely.
"Is your apology meant to automatically erase all the horrible things you said to me? Is that how our friendship works? You mess up and I'm just suppose to forgive and forget?" She asked in disbelief.
"Of course not! You just don't remember" I snapped equally frustrated.
"Remember what? The world doesn't revolve around you Barry! And if our friendship was anything like what I saw today I don't want any part of it" she said firmly with a look of disappointment.
"Cait" I whispered feeling like I had just been stabbed straight through the heart.
"If you don't like the 'new' me maybe you should start looking for a new biochemist because. Sure as hell won't last another day with someone as entitled as you" She added shaking her head in frustration while walking away.

Caitlin pov
"So that's it? Our friendship is over? Five years are nothing?" He asked in disbelief a few steps behind me.
"What do you want me to say Barry?" I said frustratedly.
"Just don't give up on me, don't give up on us" he pleaded.
"Why? There's no point" I shook my head.
"Because underneath all that cold you're still you" He whispered pleadingly.
"Wh-what?" I stuttered turning around and looking at him.
"Come back to me Caitlin" he begged.
Feeling a sharp pain,I fell to my knees in agony. Barry was by my side in lightning speed before darkness consume me. I could hear Barry faintly calling my name but I was far too gone to do anything about it.
