After dinner we all sat in the living room talking about random stories ranging from our childhood to recent events.
"So how about that date?" Liam whispered against my ear while Cisco dramatically explained something that had happened to him not long ago.
"Food better be delicious otherwise there won't be a second" I joked giving him a soft smirk which he returned with a beaming smile pulling me close to him and kissing the top of my head affectionately.
"Your wish is my command darling" He replied with a grin while turning his attention back on Cisco.
"This guy really expected me to pay him 50 cents when I know that bag of potato chips cost 20 cents. It said on the label didn't it Gypsy?" Cisco shook his head tapping Gypsy leg so she can agree with him.
"It's true but you were way too dramatic. I mean come on Cisco. It's Cuba" Gypsy laughed rolling her eyes at her fiancé.
"Cuba or not they need to have integrity" he demanded.
"Cisco only you will pick a fight over 50 cents" I chuckled shaking my head disapprovingly while everyone else mumbled in agreement.
"What about you Liam?Any interesting stories?" Iris asked with a smile trying to include Liam into the family conversations.
"Ah well I'm pretty ordinary and boring for the most part" Liam chuckled humbly while Cisco commented.
"Yet you somehow managed to become a billionaire. Pray tell your secrets my friend, cuz if 'ordinary' and 'boring' are the key, I will no longer go by Cisco; you guys could call Francisco" Cisco joked making every one burst into a fit of laughter.
"Oh how about when we went zip lining while in the Galápagos Islands?" I asked looking at Liam who laughed at the memory.
"Oh my goodness I'd forgotten about that!" He exclaimed happily.
"You guys went to the Galapagos Island?" Iris asked excitedly.
"Yes we did, it was for a research project in medical school" Liam exclaimed.
"Everyone wanted to do it but I'm scared of heights so Caitlin after a LOT of begging convinced me to do it with her." Liam continued while I smiled.
"I didn't want to do it by myself so we both went together. We did the pair zip lining gear and went together." I added.
"Babe we can do that. Wee we can both go together and do the couple zip lining" Iris mused clapping her hands excitedly.
"Once the baby is out of course" she added quickly pointing at her belly.
"I didn't know they had zip lining for two people. Cisco you made me go alone!" Gypsy complained
"Well I didn't know women so I didn't ask" He argued putting his hands up defensively.
"We honestly didn't either until we saw a couple in front of us go together and we decided to do the same" I said in Cisco's defense.
"We should all plan a trip to Hawaii or something and do the good old traditional airplane boarding and everything" Iris suggested looking at Barry while everyone else agreed.
"How else would you get to Hawaii?" Liam questioned in confusion at Iris suggestion.
"Right Right. I meant that we haven't been on a trip in a while specially on a plane" Iris elaborated while everyone tried to back up her story.
Liam nodded with a small smile looking at me with a puzzle looked before placing his over my shoulders.
"You're family is a little odd" Liam joked whispering under his breath.
"Welcome to the family Liam" I laughed.
"Thank you for letting me" Liam replied sweetly as I snuggled deeper against him while everyone else laughed and drank more and more wine.
Everything finally feels like it's going back to normal.
