Barry pov
"Cisco!" I yelled desperately walking into the med bay with Caitlin's unconscious body in my arms.
"Caitlin!" Cisco exclaimed rushing towards us.
"What happened?" He asked as he began scanning Caitlin.
"We we're talking...arguing...and she-she just fainted" I stuttered looking at Caitlin.
"Barry!" Cisco hissed angrily hooking Caitlin to a monitor to control her heart rate.
"I'm sorry-I didn't mean to-" I stuttered running a hand through my hair desperately.
"You never mean to do anything Barry! Yet somehow you always find a new way to hurt her!" Cisco emphasized.
"Woah! What's going on? Caitlin oh my gosh!" Iris gasped walking in looking at us in shock.
"Owww" Caitlin groaned slightly moving her head gaining consciousness.
"Cait" I whispered sighing in relief while approaching her.
"Don't. Let me handle her" Cisco intervened blocking me and turning towards her and running a hand through her hair in a soothing manner.
"Hey Cait. It's me Cisco. You're okay" He whispered.
"My head hurts" she said weakly.
"You fainted" Cisco clarified rubbing her head.
"I know I remember" she smiled weakly.
"You do?" He asked in surprise.
"Yes Cisco. I remember everything" Caitlin smiled looking around her.
"Oh thank God" Iris exclaimed happily running towards in and embracing her in a tight hug.
"Welcome back" Iris whispered smiling ear to ear.
"Thank you Iris" she smiled
"Even the way she says my name sounds different!" She squealed in excitement making Caitlin let out a soft chuckle.
"You had me worried for a second" Cisco smiled hugging her as well.
"Don't I always?" Caitlin sassed giving a playfully smirk.
"It's good to have you back Cait" I smiled shyly not meeting her eyes.
"Thank you Barr" She smiled.
"Oh ooh oh we need to celebrate. I'll tell dad so we can have a small get together at our place" Iris said grabbing Caitlin's hand.
"You don't have to do that" Caitlin smiled shyly.
"Of course I do silly. You just got your memories back" Iris smiled.
"I don't want you pushing yourself Iris, you're pregnant with a baby speedster" Caitlin spoke.
"None sense. I'll just have Barry do all the work" Iris winked and Caitlin laughed.
"Alright" Caitlin agreed.
"Yay" Iris clapped excitedly.
"I'll go get everything ready. Oh and Liam is more then welcome to join" Iris winked playfully and Caitlin nodded.
"Let me take you home" Cisco offered helping her to a sitting position.
"Thank you Cisco" Caitlin smiled
"Let me go get your things and then I can take you. I'll be right back" Cisco smiled turning around and glaring at me with a warning stare.
"Barry?" Caitlin called standing up but wobbling a little doing so. I quickly rushed to her side and steadied her.
"Easy easy Cait" I whispered holding her arms softly.
"Barry. What I said about us not being friends. I'm sorry. I hurt your feelings and I'm sorry" She apologizes guilty holding onto my arms for balance.
"Lets not-let's not talk about that right now" I smiled sadly.
"If we don't talk about it now, we never will" She emphasized.
"Cait please" I pleaded shaking my head.
"We need to talk about this." She pushed.
"I don't want too. Not right now. Please" I begged.
"Fine" she said furrowing her eyebrows visibly upset. She shrugged her arms from my hold and slowly and fiercely moved away from me.
"Whenever you're ready to talk let me know" she said shaking her head in disappointment.
"What am I suppose to say Cait!?" I exclaimed desperately turning around to face her.
"You pushes me away Cait. You were the one that didn't want to be friends!" I said feeling anger cursing through me.
"Are you seriously blaming me for all of this?" Cait spoke in disbelief.
"No of course not!" I scoffed annoyed.
"It sure feels like it" she said angrily.
Caitlin pov
"That's the problem Cait. You never talk about your feelings!Ever. I don't want you to apologize to me because none of this is your fault! It's all mine! I'm the reason why you lost your memories in the first place" he said desperately.
"Barry" I whispered softly.
"No Cait. I don't want to talk to you because this guilt is killing me. I see you and all I see is just how much I've hurt. How can I be a hero, if I hurt the people I love the most?" Barry said looking away from.
"None of this is your fault. I got attacked by a future meta and it has nothing to do with you" I argued trying a place a hand on his shoulder to comfort him but he flinched and shrugged me off.
"How are you so sure this meta didn't attack you because of me huh?" He argued
"Because you're not the only one that has enemies Barry. Don't carry the whole world on your shoulders. You have to let people help you." I begged looking at him.
"Me? How about you? You're always making sure everyone is okay and you never once think about yourself" he retorted.
"That's not true" I argued lamely.
"Caitlin you're doing it right now. Look at you trying to help me sort out my emotions while no less than 30 minutes ago you were unconscious" He laughed drily shaking his head.
"I-that's not the point" I stutter.
"Isn't it though? Why didn't you ever tell me that you think I'm controlling?" He challenged.
"Barry you can't hold this against me. I didn't have my memories. It wasn't me" I argued glaring at him.
"It was you. It was a version of yourself that never knew me and you seemed better off." He said truthfully his eyes drifting from mine in pain.
"There is no version of me ever that would be better off without you in it." I said sternly.
"That's not true" he said looking at me guiltily.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"A few years ago in Flashpoint I saw you-I saw you holding a baby girl. It was yours..and Ronnie's. You seemed so happy. You had a family Cait and I took that away from you. Ronnie came back and I took him away from you. How could you possibly still want to be friends with me" He asked shaking his head and running a hand through his hair slightly tugging at it in frustration.
"Because you're my family Barry. Yes, I've lost so much in my life but in the midst of all the pain and helplessness I gained the things that I hold dearest and that includes you too" I said softly.
"And whether you'd like to see that or not is up to you Barry" I finished frowning before walking out of the room.
And to think that a few years from now we're suppose to be married and have kids...
