*be warned that this chapter is an emotional rollercoaster and very intense*

Caitlin pov
"Cait" Barry said for the fourth time as I stood facing away from him staring at an old tree. Tears were running down my face and I tried wiping them away but it was useless.
"Cait" Barry said sadly grasping my wrist and walking around so that we would face each other.
"Please don't cry" he said with a pained expression
"He is in pain because of me Barry. He is heartbroken because of me" I sobbed quietly staring at the ground.
"No Cait it's not you; it's me" he said guiltily.
"It's us" I concluded and Barry nodded in agreement wiping some tears from my cheeks gently. The gesture made my heart beat ten times faster.
"I hate this Cait" he mumbled exhausted oh his hands still placed on my cheeks.
"What are we suppose to do?" I said sighing sadly tears still running down my face
"I don't know" he replied honestly looking at me with a pained expression.
"He told me he had all these conversations with me...in the future...new memories–but he seemed so–so heartbroken Barry" I cried remembering his face from last night.
"I'm sorry Cait. I just can't do this to Iris. She's pregnant and I love her too" He said getting choke up.
"Oh my gosh Barry-I-that's not what I meant-I-I know you love her" I stuttered lamely pulling away from his hold in a lame attempt to keep the ounce of dignity I have left.
"I don't want you to divorce Iris. I would never imply that-I would never—" I stuttered for lack of words.
"Hey hey hey I know I know" Barry soothed approaching me but I took a step back.
"This won't work Barry even if we tried; you can force love; and neither Dawn nor future you nor destiny can force you to love me" I ranted rapidly feeling my cheeks heated from embarrassment.
It's pathetic to think that I would need to emplore for him to love him.
"Cait it's not like that I do–" Barry tried to soothe me again but I interjected
"No Barry don't try to make me feel better. We're friends and that's it. We've never seen each other as nothing more than just that. friends." I said meeting his briefly before shifting my gaze.
"Caitlin you know that's not completely true" he sighed defeated.
"I don't know what you're talking about" I faked cluelessly while diverging with my fingers in nervousness.
"I-I like you Cait" Barry admitted hesitantly the words almost completely disappearing in a hushed whispered.
Did he just—
"Barry don't lie to yourself. You don't like me" I chuckled nervously biting my lip and shaking my head.
"Cait" Barry whispered taking a step closer to me; making instinctively take another stride backwards as my back with the wall on the side of Joe's house. The sun had been setting for a while now, so it was harder to see Barry's features with the lack of natural light.
"Barry" I mimicked but my tone was more harsh than his.
"You don't like me?" He asked taking a step closer making me take a nervous gulp to calm my spiking nerves.
"I–I–care about you a-a lot" I stuttered biting my lip hard to try and stay calm.
"I didn't ask that Caitlin" he said titling his head to the side waiting expectantly.
"Wh-why do you even want to know? I-I already told you I care about you like I care about Harry, uhm—Iris an-and Cisco" I stuttered griping the side of my dress in a tight fist.
"Who's lying to themselves here, you or me?" Barry asked lowly I could feel his face closer to mine making my legs shiver at the intimacy.
I stared into his green eyes briefly before defensively replying with "I'm not ly—"; I felt his lips crashing into mine before I could finish my sentence. I blinked rapidly at his actions too stunned to even react to what was happening.
When Barry presses me against the wall with his body and placed a hand behind my neck to keep me still, I hesitantly moved my lips against his, afraid that he would pull away immediately. But he didn't, instead he pressed his body closer to mine and grip my right cheek with one hand while placing his left hand on the wall behind me. He caressed my cheek with his thumb softly biting my bottom lip making me gasp lightly but letting him nonetheless.
A couple seconds later he slowly began to pull away and I could feel my cheeks were as red as a tomato.
"I don't think you would kiss Cisco or Harry like that; so I'm gonna say you like me too Cait" Barry said huskily while giving me a grin still panting from our kiss.
"Barry" I sighed helplessly looking down and biting my lip in shame.
"Let's just think about this later okay" He suggested coming closer to me and lifting my chin to meet his gaze.
Staring at his green eyes, I felt so naked and vulnerable. I bit my lip in shyness drifting my gaze from his.
His thumb touched my bottom lip and tugged if away from between my teeth.
"that drives me crazy" he said gazing at my lower lip.
"Wh-What?" I asked cluelessly.
"Biting your lip, it makes me want to—" He said lowly
"Barry stop I—" I pleaded him as he dropped his thumb from my lip and placed his lips on mine once more while immediately biting my lower lip sensually and tugging it slightly making my legs quiver from underneath me. He grinned at me before pulling away.
"It makes me want to do that" he finished pushing some hair behind my ear tenderly.
"We can't co this. Not like this Barry" I whispered being fully aware we were making out behind Joe's house with a pregnant Iris still inside.
"I know" he sighed.
"But let's just enjoy this moment" He argued placing a hand on my lower waist and pulling me closer.
"Fine" I agreed surrendering. Before I could even say another word; I was leaning against a random brick building. I could hear the busy cars of New York distant from the dark alley both Barry and I were currently leaning against.
"Barry" I scolded softly after taking in my surroundings.
"Shhhh" he bushes crashing his lips against mine eagerly leaning Hi body closer to mine.
Even though I knew that what we were doing was wrong. At that moment I allowed myself to enjoy what I had been craving for so long. He made me happy and for that single moment I selfishly allowed myself to have it.
I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me. He rested his arms on my lower back pulling me closer to him. He bit my lower lip again but this time to grant him access so he could deepen the kiss which I happily obliged. I moaned against his lips cussing him to grin feeling his right arm run down from my lower back to the sides of my leg. At his cold touch to my exposed skin my body reacted with goosebumps. His kisses trailed from lips to to my jaw and down to my neck. I moaned louder once he found my sweet spot and I pulled closer to me gripping his shoulders tightly. I could feel smirk against my neck before he continued to trail wet kisses down to the expose skin on shoulders.
"Barry" I moaned making him groaned loudly in pleasure.
His hands lifted my legs off the ground while I wrapped them around his waist while leaning against the wall behind me for support.
I brought his lips to meet mine as I hungrily kissed him running one hand through the nape of his neck while the other one gripped his shoulder.
I trailed kisses down his neck while tugging at his hair softly making him moan in pleasure. I smirked against his skin making him moan in louder while roughly gripping my waist closer to him.
"Cait" he moaned as I bit his neck lightly with my teeth not hard Enugu to leave a mark.
The way he said my name made me feel so many things.
"We should-we should stop" I suggested panting as he pushed against the wall lightly gripping my butt with a little bit of pressure.
"Ye-yeah" he panted loudly kissing my shoulder and making his way up.
"Barry" I moaned warningly trying to pull him away.
"Fuck Cait" he groaned kissing my lips and sucking my bottom lip once more before lowering me to the ground. My legs were weak and I was leaning against the wall for support.
"You're so fucking beautiful" he whispered placing a strand of hair behind my ear and kissing my lips gently and tenderly and later kissing my forehead, eyes, cheeks, and nose.
His green eyes beamed as he rubbed my cheeks ethos his thumbs and I have a small ahh smile making him chuckle lightly and pecking my lips one more time
