Prompt: Autumn Breeze
Arrival (Written 4-8-20)
She rattles the changing leaves
sat upon brittle branches
catching them in cool arms
before they flutter to the ground
She carries them along
with the scent of hot spice
lifted from small pies
left out to cool on window sills
She releases her collected treasures
along the way
to share with every passerby
to let them know she's come to stay
