Jewels and gems
Silver and gold
These are not the riches
you'll remember
as you grow old
Precious Stones (Written 5-4-20)
Jade that shines in
Every color
Waves of rainbow through
Effervescent opal
Lapis lazuli made
Smooth to glow deep blue
Ancient life
Nestled within
Dim swirls of amber
Glitter and sparkle
Enveloped in focused light
Molded and chiseled to
Shine from every angle
