[What writing means to you]

To feel this pen on this page
To connect with people across the world
To see and hear and know
that there are others out there
just like me
To see my stories come to life
the characters the plot the world
in my mind translated to the page
It takes time
It takes practice
It takes hard work
But when I see it there
messy but finished
it's the best feeling in the world
Is there anything else
that I could ask for?

The instruments that clang
Harmony through calamity
