Your Brain (Written 4-14-20)
It's not really pink you know
It's a mix of white and grey
Of neural bodies and myelin
to make everything run smoothly
Any way you slice it
you can see the different areas
All your thoughts and memories
in rolls and strips of tissue
How you feel and sense the world
Every part of your personality
Everything you know and don't
and why you believe your brain is pink
