Inspired by a picture I took in a store parking lot:
Fluffy Clouds Passing By (Written 4-10-20)
While the world turns at impossible speeds
The asphalt is still beneath your feet
While people are crazed and scrambling
Mother Nature calms and watches and listens
While we race across this azure sky
Down below are masked people, scared into action
So as we pass on by we puff our bellies
And fill this sky with fluffy white
We always see you and hear your whispers
Sometimes we laugh with you
And when we weep I am so sorry
But this, our fluffed bodies that you
Call cotton candy is our gift to you
Along with our Mother we will watch
And we will listen
And we will be with you until this passes
Like we go with the wind

Chance (Poetry Collection)
PoetryIn 2020 amid the COVID-19 quarantine, I started writing poetry again. These are the chances I took to connect with others through simple gatherings of words even if we couldn't gather in public. [March 14 - PRESENT]
