how can anyone be beautiful if they see themselves as a monster?
how can anyone be worthy if they find no worth in their own heart?
why do you feel like an impostor
when you've barely given yourself the chance to start?maybe all we need is a little faith
maybe all we need is a helping hand
no matter the situation, the case
we all need someone who can understand"Is everyone okay?"
Jin glances over at the door when he hears it open, his eyes widening at the sight of a familiar blue-haired individual heading for the till. "Joon? What are you doing here?" he asks, surprised to see the other.
"Hoseok told me there was a thief who turned up here, tried to steal some books. Threatened you guys," Namjoon responds, sounding slightly distracted, running a hand through his hair.Jin just smiles. "Everything's fine, babe. You don't need to worry." Then he freezes. "Did you leave Yoongi on his own?"
"No, Hobi wanted to talk to him anyway, so I left them both there. He's not alone, don't worry. He's getting better, anyway."There's an awkward cough from behind them, and they both turn to see Jimin standing there. "Sorry to interrupt, but I need to serve a customer. Jin hyung, if you wanna explain to Mr Kim what happened-"
"Call me Namjoon, remember?"
"Right, sorry. If you wanna explain to Namjoon hyung what happened, I'll take over the till for you."The two of them move to one side, allowing Jimin to login to the till and start serving the customer who'd approached the till. "Is he alright?" Namjoon adds on, gesturing towards the busy teenager. Jin tilts his head. "After the thief and stuff."
"He seems to be okay, to be honest. The guy who helped us out was his neighbour, and that seemed to really cheer him up.""Really?" Jin shrugs, nodding.
"He told me the guy was a therapist, and that he worked with-"
"He was a therapist?" Namjoon says suddenly, and for a moment his boyfriend is confused, before he realises. "This could be a chance to figure out if something will work for you, couldn't it?" Jin sighs, shrugs again, bites his lip."I don't know. He looks at using exercise to help with therapy, apparently. He's more of a personal trainer than an official therapist."
"Is it worth seeing if he can help you, though?" Namjoon points out, clearly still worried about the purple, who doesn't seem to want to seek help. "I don't wanna force you to do anything, but he might be able to help in some way. Even if he introduces us to someone who can properly help you."The door shuts as the customer leaves, and both Jin and Namjoon jump when Jimin coughs awkwardly again. "You alright?" the blue says quickly, glancing over at the teenager.
"This is gonna make me sound awful, but I overheard the very end of your conversation...by accident, I swear! But I could..." the youngster lowers his head, clearly uncomfortable, and probably also embarrassed, "next time I see my neighbour, I could ask him what kind of things he can help with. After all, his specialisation may be useful to you."There's a moment of silence, and then Jimin lifts his hand as if to mess with his hair, only to realise that he's wearing the uniform cap. "Again, I'm really sorry to interrupt, and I promise I'm not trying to intrude, I just wanna help." When the other two don't say anything, he shrugs, heading back to the till when another customer appears with a book.
"Nadia?" the red says suddenly, recognising another one of his new neighbours. The girl smiles widely at him, placing a pile of books on the till.
"Oh hey, Jimin. You doing alright?"
"Not bad." There's a pause, as he scans through her purchases, well aware of the fact that both Jin and Namjoon are watching him. "Didn't your dad just come in here?" he adds on.
