Reaper's P.O.V

"Brother where are you going."

"Just for a walk bro, I'll be back in a bit," I answered. He nodded and I left.

I was a little stressed due to something that had happened earlier in the day and I've always found the best way to relax was a walk through the woods.

Course I couldn't touch any of the trees or flowers, not unless I wanted to kill them. Even the grass along the path I always took was gone, just dirt now.

Either way, it was still nice to listen to the birds and just be alone for awhile. Yet this time it wasn't the birds singing. I heard a woman's voice.

I followed the voice to a small clearing. Sitting in the clearing surrounded by animals was the woman singing.

She was wearing a light (f/c) dress and had (h/c) hair. Her voice was like an angels, no wonder the animals liked it.

Luckily she hadn't noticed me, she probably wouldn't have stayed after knowing what my job was.

Well, she didn't notice me. But one of the deer out of the group of animals did. She stopped singing and looked over to where I was.

"Were you enjoying my little performance," she asked sweetly. I nodded and stepped out closer to her.

The deer that originally spotted me came over to me. "I wouldn't get too close to me buddy," I said and she called the deer back over to her.

"Not an animal lover," she asked with a hint of disappoinment in her voice. "Oh no, I like animals. I just didn't want him getting hurt," I responded.

She looked confused. "Let me explain, anything that I touch...dies. I'm the God of Death," I explained, expecting her to leave.

"Oh well thank you for warning him at least," she said calmly. She got up from where she was sitting and walked over to me.

"I'm Y/n. I'm the Goddess of Animals," that's why she isn't scared, my powers can't hurt her. "I'm Sans, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too Sans." "So, the animals really like your singing huh," I asked. "The animals trust me no matter what, but yeah they do seem to like it," she said petting the head of the deer.

"You know I don't mind you listening, it's always fun to have an audience you can actually understand," she said laughing slightly.

"Heh, I came out here to listen to the birds. But that was a nice deviation from the plan," I said.

A few seconds later we heard someone calling her name. "Ugh, I gotta go. If you ever wanna talk again, I'll be here," she said while walking off.

I've gotta come talk to her again. She seems like a really nice girl, not to mention she seemed really chill about me being the God of death.

Plus I guess since our introduction was cut short it would be worth coming back to know more about her.

I went back the next day around the same time, and the day after that, and the day after that. I went back for months, we talked for about a hour a day. Every day she was called elsewhere.

She told me it was her dad. He kept saying a goddess was supposed to be lady like and he had a woman teaching her to act that way.

She didn't want that though. She liked being in the woods with her animals and would rather spend time out here with me.

She didn't need to be more ladylike, she was perfect to me.

After all the times of seeing her daily I hadn't noticed just how much I liked her. And rather quickly I had grown to love her.

Even knowing I would only see her a little bit a day I had to tell her. I did, and I couldn't even get the full sentence out before she had hugged me.

Even after knowing it was time for her classes she didn't leave. Of course that was our mistake. Due to her not coming, her dad went into the woods to find her.

He was mad enough, but seeing me holding his daughter made the situation ten times worse.

"Y/n! What are you doing here with him," he said in an almost disgusted voice. She jumped up to try and calm him down which wasn't working.

"Dad please calm down, he's done nothing wrong," she said frantically while her dad grabbed her arm and basically dragged her away.

"Stay away from my daughter," he yelled before they were out of sight.

No, I'm not losing her this soon. I quietly followed them until they left the woods. Luckily her house was right at the edge of the trees.

I waited a couple minutes until I saw the light in her room turn on. Her room was on the second floor and luckily she had a balcony attached to it.

I teleported up to the door connecting the balcony and her room. She was inside curled up on her bed, her head hidden in her arms.

I knocked on the glass door and her head shot up. She smiled, despite the tears on her face, and ran to open the door.

"Sans, what are doing here. My dad will flip if he sees you," she said pulling me inside. "I'm not letting him take you away from me ," I said taking her hands.

She sighed and looked at the ground. "Sans, he's sending me away. I leave tomorrow night," she said sadly.

"What, no he can't," I said pulling her to me. "He's been talking about it for years. I'm sorry," she said starting to cry again.

"No, your not going anywhere," I said making her look up at me. "Come with me, stay with my brother and I," I said.

"What about my dad, he's gonna send to people to find me when he realizes I'm gone," she asked. "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. For now please, you can't leave me."

She smiled and nodded. "Ok Sans, I'll go with you. I don't know what I'd do if I left, I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Y/n, who are you talking to, I swear if it's that boy from earlier," her dad yelled through the door. "Sans we have to go," she said and I teleported us home.

"You think your brother will mind me staying here," she asked. "He'll be thrilled darling. He's been wanting to meet you."

"Well I can't wait to meet him, but for now let's just take it easy for a bit," she said while leaning her head on my chest.

"That sounds perfect," I said sitting on the couch, then laying her across my lap. "I love you Sans," she said while I ran my hand through her hair.

"I love you too darling."
