(I am apologizing in advance. I've never written anything for a ship and am only used to x readers so this may not be that good. That also meaning this is probably a one time thing, sorry)
"Dream, on your feet. Nightmare's trying to attack Underfell," Ink yelled catching Dream off guard. "Alright I'm coming," he said standing up.
He didn't wanna go, sure he wanted to help protect the Aus, even if Underfell wasn't one of his favorites. No he didn't wanna go because of him.
Killer. He never understood why he had such feelings for him. He was an enemy and he worked for Nightmare, so he was sure Killer hated him due to the fact he was around his brother so much.
He was pulled from his thoughts once his feet hit the snow in Fell's Snowdin. Nightmares crew already busy destroying everything they could.
Of course that stopped immediately once the Star Sanses were spotted. They were under attack in seconds.
Dust fighting Ink, Horror trying to hit Blue with his axe. That left Killer to attack Dream. Yet Dream knew how Killer fought, how strong he was. And yet Dream was dodging him with ease.
Almost like he was missing on purpose.
Eventually Dream started fighting back using a bone like a staff. Killer then doing the same since his knife was obsolete for this.
Dream could also tell how his strength wasn't nearly what it normally was from how easy he was fighting him.
They suddenly locked both weapons and eyelights or at least it's assumed considering Killers sockets were empty.
But that slight blue blush on his face was definitely not what Dream expected he also didn't expect the feeling in his soul either.
"Dream, get your head in the game."
"Killer, snap out of it."
"Meet me under your tree after this," Killer said quickly before running to help Dust fight Ink. That left Dream extremely confused but also strangely happy.
But right now he had a bigger issue, his brother fighting Fell, who was clearly no match for Nightmares strength.
Dream used his magic to slam Nightmare to the ground so Fell could get away.
"Would you just stay out of my way," Nightmare growled. "Sorry bro, but I've got a job to do."
Nightmare took his chance and wrapped a tentacle around Dreams neck threatening to snap it. Before a sharpened bone hit the side making him release Dream.
Nightmare's head shot over to where it had come from to see Killer with a fake look of guilt.
"Killer what the f*ck," he yelled. "Sorry boss, lost control of an attack," he said before turning back to fighting Ink again.
"I don't have time for this," he muttered under his breath. "Come on guys this place isn't worth our time," Nightmare called to his team before leaving.
The Star Sanses counted it as win and all went back to their Aus. Well not before Dream being questioned by Ink.
"Dream what happened back there," he asked with a bit of concern. "I don't know. I guess I was just a little easily distracted today," he responded shrugging.
"Hmm, well at least we won. See you later," he said before teleporting away.
That left Dream standing alone in the middle of Snowdin. Also leaving him to wonder if Killer was serious about meeting him under the tree or was he just trying to play a joke on him.
It was either not go and possibly risk leaving Killer alone. Or go and risk being made a fool.
In the end he decided to go, just in case he was serious.
Sure enough Killer was there leaning against the positive side of the tree, Dream's side.
"Didn't think you'd actually come," he said looking up at Dream. "To be honest I thought the same thing," Dream responded.
"I saved your life I think I deserve a little praise," he said walking over to him. "Right, thank you for that by the way. Even if it meant Nightmare possibly punishing you," he said as a thank you and apology.
"You think I'm scared of him. You and I both know he's just that way because he's afraid of being seen as weak," he said. Dream nodded.
"But really why did you wanna meet here. If its about what happened during the fight, I don't know," he said.
"Well, can't I just wanna talk to you," Killer said kinda nervously. "Considering we're supposed to be enemies that's kinda suspicious," Dream responded.
"I know, the thought that I may be trying to get info for Nightmare, but I promise that's not what I'm trying to do," he reassured.
"Alright well what was it you wanted to talk about," Dream asked. "I-uh well. Considering we hardly know each other this may come out so weird," he said warily.
"Ya see, today during the fight, I had this weird feeling in...my soul. When we locked eyelights," he began.
"I didn't know what to do about it and honestly wanted to ignore it. But I couldn't, that's why I hit Nightmare, so he'd let you go, I didn't want you... getting hurt or worse. I know that sounds weird coming from me."
Dream was in shock. What was happening. "Heh, well um. I-uh felt that same feeling too. I tried ignoring it to... there's no point in it though," Dream responded.
"Well, does that mean that our souls are connected or...," Killer asked. "That or we're...soulmates, but that's just a guess," Dream responded.
"Heh well then, how about you give me a chance to take you somewhere nice to find out," Killer said. "That...sounds nice. And what if we really are soulmates," Dream asked.
"Well, I guess you're my dream guy, huh."
(Please have mercy, I tried, I'm not good at this
