"Papyrus, have you seen Y/n today," Sans asked while he looked around the house for you.

"No, she's been in her room all morning, I haven't seen her come out," he answered with a worried tone in his voice.

"Again. She's been doing this for almost a month," Sans responded. "We gotta get her out for at least a day, it's not good for her to stay alone in there this long," Paps said.

"Oh I have an idea," Sans said excitedly, Papyrus let out a hum telling his brother to tell him.

"Well, whenever you and I are sick or sad who's always there to make us feel better," he asked. "She is," Papyrus answered.

"Exactly, she does so much for us, let's do something for her," he finished. "That's a great idea Sans but what should we do," Paps asked.

"Well, as long as I remember she's loved parties, regardless of who they were for," he answered. "Yeah, but do you really think she'll wanna be around a bunch of people."

"Probably not," Sans said still racking his brain for a way to cheer you up. "How about we just do a small sibling hangout day. Just me, you and her. She'd probably appreciate that," Paps said to still use his brothers idea.

"Yeah she has said we're not around enough anymore. That's perfect, now we just gotta figure out what kinda things to do for it."

"I'll take care of the food and stuff, you decorate and when the time comes we'll let her choose a movie and we'll just relax for the day," Papyrus explained.

"Alright, now we just need to get her out the house, just in case she decided to come out while in decorating," Sans said. "I'll get Dream to take her somewhere for a bit."

"Alright, let's get on this," Papyrus said before teleporting away to get your favorite snacks, drinks and candies.

Sans immediately went and called Dream to fill him in on their plan and had him come to take you to Dreamtale to chill for a couple hours.

"Hey Y/n, can you come out for a minute," Sans said knocking on your door. You wiped the (m/c) tears from your eyesockets and plastered on a fake smile to open the door.

"Hey Sans, hey Dream. What's up," you asked leaning on your doorway. "Dream was wondering if you wanted to go with him to Dreamtale for a bit," Sans said.

"I...uh I dunno," you said, you did not feel like going out today. "Come on Y/n, how long's it been since we've spent some time together, we used to be so close," Dream said trying to get you to go with him.

"Alright Dream, let's go," you reluctantly said, hiding it behind fake excitement and left for Dreamtale.

"Ok, now where should I start with decorating," Sans said to himself rummaging through a drawer to find some balloons and streamers.

Once he got the decorations up, which took awhile since short people and hanging decorations don't mix very well, Papyrus had come back with armfuls of grocery bags filled to the brims with your favorite foods.

"I think we're ready," Papyrus said taking a look at his brother's rather good attempt at decorating.

Sans texted Dream to tell him to bring you home. A couple minutes later you and Dream teleported into your living room.

You flinched a bit when your brothers yelled 'SURPRISE', but you immediately calmed down when you saw the (f/c) balloons and streamers hing around the house.

"You were in on this weren't you," you asked Dream, he shrugged but smiled. "Maybe I was, but I'll leave you to it, see ya later Y/n," he said before teleporting back home.

"Guys what's the occasion," you asked walking over to your brothers. "Do we need an occasion to do something nice for you," Papyrus asked. "Yeah, we just thought it's time we do something for you since you do so much for us," Sans added.

"Thank you guys," you said hugging them both, them both happy you were out of your room and talking a good bit again.

You knew the real reason they had done this, but you wanted to go along with them, you did want to spend more time with them so why not try to enjoy it a little bit.

"Ok Y/n you go pick out a movie and Papyrus and I will handle the rest," Sans said letting you go choose your favorite movies.

You ran upstairs to grab it and when you came back the couch was covered by fluffy blankets and the coffee table was full of snacks and other junk foods you liked.

"You two are the best," you said sitting down between the two of them after putting the movie in.

You were trying to watch the movie, Papyrus was busy cracking jokes about what's happening on the TV, often getting laughs from you and Sans fussing at your older brother for the jokes.

The three of you were finally acting like you used to, before you all had to grow up and actually act like adults. That's one of the reason you were so down lately, you just wanted the old them back.

You were having one of the best times you had in months, but once this day was over, it would probably go back to the way it was before.

You started thinking about how you didn't want it to change and that led to all your thoughts that made you so depressed in the recent weeks.

They both immediately picked up on your change in posture and expression, they knew that they had to ask you what was wrong, then they could try to help.

"Y/n, we need you to be honest with us, what's wrong," Papyrus asked. You were gonna deny as long as you could though.

"I don't know what you're talking about Paps, I'm fine," you lied. "Please don't lie to us, you're our only sister and we want to make sure you're happy," Sans said.

"Guys really, I'm perfectly fine, great even," you lied again. "Y/n," Papyrus said sternly, which surprised you, he never used that tone with you, never.

"You know what fine," you sighed. You broke down and spilled every negative thing in your mind, every bad thought about yourself.

Once you were done you had more (m/c) tears streaming down your cheekbones, both of your brothers had tears forming in their eyesockets as well.

"...Y/n," Papyrus said wiping away some of your tears, "none of that is true, you are an amazing, beautiful girl and a freaking awesome sister," he said trying to get you to stop crying.

"Yes, we couldn't ask for a better girl to call our little sister. You may not be able to see just how magnificent you are, but we and everyone else around you can," Sans said pulling you into a tight hug.

"And if you really miss how much we used to spend time together we can do something like this every week. We can do a movie night or just a family night," Papyrus said after Sans let you go.

"That...sounds perfect Paps, thank you, both of you. I couldn't ask for a better family," you said trying not to cry again, this time from how happy you were to have your old relationship with your brothers back

"Next time you feel down you come to us ok, we'll do whatever we can to help," Sans said resting a hand on your shoulder.

You knew just this wasn't gonna fix your situation, but it was definitely a step in the right direction.

"I will Sans, and I'm promise I won't make you two worry like that again," you said as they both wrapped an arm around you and went back to watching the movie.

"You two really are the best brothers I could ask for."

(Ok, I truthfully cannot stop thinking that when the reader is off with Dream he confessed to her and honestly I really wanna write a story about that side of it, since it's not seen here.)
