Possible Trigger Warning: Cheating

"Sans? Can...can you come over?"
That phone call was around 15 minutes ago.
Now you were sitting on your couch with your skeletal best friend trying his best to comfort you.
"Y/n? What happened? I can't help if I don't know what's wrong."
You knew he was extremely concerned at that moment. His energetic personality sorta went out the window when he saw you curled up in a ball on the couch with tearstained cheeks.
You didn't say anything. Only handing him your phone with a photo from a message on screen.
It was your, now ex, lover. Holding another person just like they did to you. Looking at them with the same loving look as they did to you.
You had confronted them about it that morning. They had claimed they were drunk and made a mistake, you didn't care. You wanted them gone.
You looked over at Sans after you showed him the picture.
You weren't so sure for a second that even was Sans anymore.
His sky blue eyelights were absent from his sockets. His look of sympathy for you had changed to silent anger.
"Sans...calm down."
At the sound of your voice his eyelights returned and he let out a sigh. His pinpricks still held anger in them however.
"I'm so sorry, Y/n. You deserve so much better than that."
He opened his arms, silently asking if you wanted a hug, to which you accepted. You more or less really just leaned on him, but it was slightly comforting nonetheless.
"What did I do wrong, Sans?"
"What? Nothing, nothing at all. They did this, not you."
He allowed you to sit back up, not before wiping away a few of your tears though.
You and him stayed there most of the day. Which was odd for him, usually he could hardly sit still.
By the time it was dark, you were having to convince him he could go home, that you'd be fine. Eventually he reluctantly returned to his own home. Constantly messaging you however.
A little after his first messages you also received some comforting words from Papyrus and Chara.
This was good for you, support was something you needed at that moment.
That continued for a few more days, as well as visits from Sans when he got the chance.
Around a week later he convinced you to go with him to a cafe in town. You knew it would be good to get out, so you said goodbye to your sweatpants and hoodie and got dressed.
It was fun for awhile. You and Sans were just chatting about whatever, you laughing at his little tangents he'd go on whenever you brought up one of his hobbies or interests.
It only started going downhill when you suggested to take a small walk over to a nearby park after the two of you had finished your food.
It was a nice day, birds singing, sun shining.
