Halloween with the Sanses

(Frick, I meant to put this out last night, oh well)

Ah, yes. The best day of the year is upon us.

Over the next few days I will be putting out stories of this nature, like how each Sans would celebrate different types of Halloween fun.

Like for example, this one is how they feel about Halloween and what they love about it. The next one may be how they react going through a haunted house, who knows.

Sans (Undertale) - Playing pranks and carving pumpkins.

Of course he would love an excuse to prank everyone, and trust me, he's got plenty in store. His pranks range from using decorations to scare people or for a chance to make a pun, but honestly, did we really expect anything else from him.

Now the pumpkins, he'll tell you he is not the most artistic monster, but pumpkins aren't supposed to be perfect, so really anything ends up looking pretty good (besides, if it turns out bad, he'll just say he did it on purpose). Truthfully, as weird as it may be, he enjoys gutting them, but he only likes it because he'll randomly throw the guts at you or Papyrus, he just wants to be annoying.

Fell (Underfell) - Giving out candy and haunted houses.

Yes, giving out candy is something he enjoys. Believe it or not, though he'd never outright admit it, he likes kids and gets along great with them. So he loves seeing the smiles on their faces when you two give out some candy.

But there's more to it than that. The entire time he's also sneaking candy when he thinks you're not looking. So chances are, any leftover candy is going to him, especially anything chocolate.

The haunted houses, well he's just really being that guy that takes his girl through it so she'll cling to him. He doesn't really want to see you scared but having you holding onto him for protection gives him a great sense of pride. Now if you're like me and don't get scared from them, he's fine with that too, you'll probably just go around making jokes about the costumes or just randomly talking.

Blue (Underswap) - Costumes and Halloween parties.

He loves coming up with and making his costume, and yours if you want. He's often some sort of knight, cause maybe he can't be in the royal guard but at least he can be your guard. If you chose to dress up as a queen or princess, well he might explode with happiness. Now of course if you don't like those types of costumes, he is perfectly fine with that, he'll like you in whatever costume you choose.

He likes Halloween parties because it's a chance to one, show off his costume and two, show you off. He likes letting everyone know your his, he might even refer to himself as your 'knight in shining armor' at one point, and regardless of what you're dressed as, he will call you his princess at least once.

Val (Swapfell) - Working at a haunted house and horror movies.

Let's be honest, he would love working at a haunted house, he wants to be chaotic evil and he sees this as a great opportunity. He also loves, and I mean loves, scaring people. Besides, who wouldn't want to get paid to scare the soul outta people. Now if you happen to visit, he's still gonna scare you, but he'll go easier on you than he would the others.

Like Fell, he's the guy who wants you cuddled up to him during something scary. But yes, he wants you to feel safe in his arms, but this egotistical casanova will always let it go straight to his head. Always thinking stuff like 'of course you feel safe, no one else is good enough to protect you'. Course, he also feels you're the only one good enough to have him protect you at the same time.

Hunts (Horrortale) - Halloween treats and candy.

For this guy, there are parts of Halloween that could possibly trigger some bad memories for him, so maybe no haunted houses or horror movies. But hey, there's two things he loves most, you and sweets. So you and him staying in Halloween night and baking cookies or making caramel apples would be something he'd be immensely grateful for.

Also yeah, you'll be lucky if you have any candy to give to trick or treaters, if you hide it from him, he will find it and he will eat it, might wanna keep some in your car or at work maybe.

G (Gaster! Sans) - Bonfires and fall festivals.

This boy loves a good bonfire. It's a great chance to get everyone together, you can do hotdogs and marshmallows, what more could you need from a nice Halloween night. He will always be the one to suggest telling scary stories and he will always have the best one. Again, yes he wants you cuddled up to him, preferably with you wearing his jacket in case it's cold outside that night.

For the fall festival part, he's also one with a sweet tooth, not nearly as big as Fell and Hunts but it's there. He wants all the fall themed sweets and some hot chocolate or apple cider, he just wants a perfect fall afternoon with you. Also will find a pumpkin patch and get the biggest pumpkin he can find.
