Part 69.

Jasmine's POV

We arrive at a really huge building, a thousand of people are waiting in front of it at a big red carpet.
Shawn stops in front of the red carpet and gets out of the car before he joggs over to my side and opens my door.
He takes my hand and help me getting out of the car, all I hear right now is screaming of all the people.
As Aaliyah comes up to us a security guard drives away Shawn's car and the others are holding back the fans.
- You've got a performance tonight and you didn't tell me? - I ask him chuckling completely overwhelmed by all the people.
And did I mention that I'm standing on a red carpet?
- But that's not the surprise. - he smiles and takes my hand.
While we're walking over the red carpet Shawn waves and I can barely see something because of all the flashes.
Suddenly Shawn stops and pulls me closer to him, laying his arm around my waist.
- Smile babe. - he tells me and I do as he says.
Photographers take photos of us and some reporters scream questions and hold mics in our direction.
It's weird. Being on a red carpet. Or even just having a lot of attention, I am not used to this.
- Shawn how long have you two been dating? - I hear a reporter screaming and Shawn walks over to him, pulling me next to him.
- Nearly one year. But I still love her like at the beginning. - he says and I get a big smile.
- That's cute! Is she the girl of your dream? - reporter asks.
- Oh definitely! I never thought I could love someone so much, but she showed me that I can. I love her unbelievable much. And have you seen how beautiful she is? I'm honoured to be her boyfriend, really. - he says and waves again before we walk further.
- You're so cute. - I say looking up to him.
Shawn leans down and kisses me gently. The screaming now turns into some loud 'awwwe's'.
I love him so much.
After some time we finally enter the building, where a lot of other celebrities are already walking around and talking to each other.
Aaliyah already walks into the hall to look for our table while Shawn and I aee walking around.
- Hey! - someone shouts and Shawn and I quickly turn around seeing the one and only John Mayer coming over to us.
Oh god. I love his music!
- Hey man! - Shawn chuckles and gives him a bro hug.
- Hey hey hey.
Suddenly John's eyes meet mine and he starts to smile.
- Oh hello miss. You have to be Jasmine. - he smiles and gives me a kiss on my hand.
- Yes, I am.
- You know, Shawn couldn't stop talking about you when we were working on his new music. And still he's...
- Okay okay enough information for today. - Shawn chuckles and we all begin to laugh.
- Sure, sorry. It was nice meeting you two, see you later. Rock it bro. - John says and gives him another bro hug, just as a goodbye now.
We both say goodbye and walk through all the people till we reach the backstage, where Shawn's crew is already waiting.
- Alright boys, tonight's gonna be amazing. That means give all you can, and when Shawn... Zubin tells the others as he suddenly sees us walking up to them.
- Uhm you know what I mean, just give all you can. - Zubin says before he walks up to us.
- Hey good lookin', we're already totally excited for the performance! - Zubin says as Shawn let's go of me to 'bro-hug' the others.
- Well, you don't even know how excited I am. - Shawn chuckles and takes my hand again.
- Alright babe, I reservated us a table in front of the stage so I can walk up to you while performing and kiss your soft lips. - he smiles and leans down for a kiss.
He is so cute, I love him with all of my heart.
- Awww, lovebirds. - Mike says and everyone begins to laugh.
- Jealous freaks. - Shawn whispers in my ear, but everyone heard it.
- I'm gonna take her to my table, I'll be rigth back. - he tells the others and they nod.
We start walking through some halls as we arrive in the big room where a thousand of celebrities are sitting at tables in the front of the stage and a houndred of fans sitting in the back at the room on seats.
This room is lighten up by many lights strings which are hanging at the ceiling. Many flowers decorate the room and the stage shines in many colours.
- This looks so beautiful, wow. - I say surprised and Shawn begins to smile.
He leads me to a table in front of the stage where Aaliyah, his parents and Andrew are already sitting.
- Hey guys. - Shawn says loudly because off all the thousand people talking in this room.
- Oh hey sweetheart! - Karen says smiling and hugs him before giving him a kiss on his cheek.
Manny and Andrew hug him too, before everyone is looking at me.
- God, Jasmine dear, you look stunning! - Karen says while looking up and down my body.
- Awe thank you Karen, you look amazing too! - I say and hug him.
- She's right, you look breathtaking. - Manny hugs me too.
As they sit down again Andrew stands up and smiles at us.
- She's an angel Shawn, trear her like she is your life. - Andrew says to Shawn and then hugs me.
All are so kind to me, I love them so much.
- She is my life and if something would happen to her, something would happen to me too. - Shawn smiles and kisses me.
As Andrew sits down again Shawn turns me in his direction and whispers something in my ear.
- I have to get ready for the performance now, hope you don't mind. Just enjoy the show and be happy. Soon you'll get your surprise, promise. See you later babe, I love you so much. - Shawn says before kissing me passionately.
I nod and see him walking out of the room.
I love him so much and I am so excited for this show and for his sirprise.
Let's just enjoy this night...
