Part 65.

Jasmine's POV

I close my eyes because of anxiety as suddenly two strong arms hold me tight.
I try to scream, but I can't.
All I can do is gasp for air.
My heart slips into my pants and my knees get weaker and weaker.
I should've never walk into a park at this time.
- Shhh - I hear a similar voice trying to calm down.
- It's me babe, Shawn. - I hear him saying and a stone falls off my heart.
I look up and see his beautiful face lighten up a little bit by the streetlamp a few metres away.
I let me fall in his arms and start to breath slowly.
He scared the hell out of me.
- Oh god, I was so scared. What are you doing here? - I say relieved, but still kinda shocked.
For a second I thought it was some pervert guy wanting to rap me or something.
- I'm sorry, but the question is what are you doing here in the night all alone? - he takes my hand and gives me a soft kiss.
- I just wanted to get some fresh air. - I tell him and lay my head against his chest.
- Babe, it's extremely dangerous ozt here in the middle of the night. There are enough bad people. I don't want to you to do that again. - he strokes my head and presses a kiss on my forehead.
I nod and wrap my arms under his jacket. I'm freezing a lot right now.
- Are you cold babe? Here, take my jacket. - he takes off his jacket and puts it around my body.
He just wears a tshirt under it.
- But Shawn, you're only wearing a tshirt, I don't want you to catch a cold. Please put it on again.
- I don't care if I may catch a cold, I only care about you. And the baby. As long as you're good, I am good too. Let's go back home. - he says and wraps his one arm around my torso.
I smile at him and lay my head against his shoulder while we walk home.
- How did you know where I was? And why aren't you still asleep? - I ask him sleepy and look up at him.
His grip gets tighter.
- I could feel you leaving the bed and putting on your clothes. I thought you were going on the balcony, but 5 minutes later as I was about to get to you, you weren't there and I got really worried. Thank god that our phones are connected and I could see where you are. - he smiles and takes my hand to intertwine them.
- I don't want anything to happen to you. I love you so so much. - his lips touch my forehead and his hand holds mine.
He is amazing.
After around 20 minutes we arrived at his apartment again.
It's now about 5:30am.
- Let's go to sleep for another 3 to 4 hours. You need enough rest. - he says as he closes the door of his apartment behind us.
- Yeah. - I say and take off my shoes.
I walk into the bedroom and take of my clothes except my underwear to get back to sleep.
Shawn follows me and takes off his clothes as well before he crawls back under the blanket next to me.
His arms are wrapped around my body and his head lays in the crook of my head.
I can feel his warm breath on my skin and his kisses giving me goosebumps.
- Goodnight babe, and please don't leave again. I need you by my side. - he mumbles and gives me a kiss on my neck.
- I promise. Goodnight Shawn, I love you.
- I love you too.
