Part 43.

Jasmine's POV

We're arriving at the restaurant as Shawn starts to get annoyed because he can't find a parking spot.
- Damn it, somewhere has to be a parking lot for us... - he curses. I begin to chuckle and look at him.
- Darling, we'll find one. - I say and he starts to chuckle too.
- I'm sorry, I just don't want so much time to be wasted. I need to take as much time as I can for us. For you. - he says smiling at me. I smile back at him.
Finally we find one and Shawn parks in it. Shawn goes out of the car but he wants me to stay. Ha walks over to my side and opens the door for me and reaches me his hand to help me out.
- Oh, thank you Mr. Mendes. - I thank him smiling and get out.
- You're welcome, Ms. Mendes. - he says smiling and gives me my purse. Wow, he just called me 'Ms. Mendes', I'm speechless.
He closes the car and takes my hand before we start to walk into the restaurant. He kisses the back of my hand before he smiles at me and pulls me closer to him. He opens the door for me so I can get in and he lets it close after him again. Suddenly a guy comes to us.
- Have you reserved? - one guy asks us smiling.
- Yes. Mendes. - Shawn says kindly back before he smiles at me again. The guy starts searching his name at a note and finds it.
- Ah, right. Here you are. If you would follow me please. - he says smilingand leads us to a two person table in a conservatory. It looks very classy and romantic here.
Shawn thanks the guy and he walks away again. I lay down my purse on my chair as Shawn comes over to me and grabs the back of my jacket.
- My Lady? - he asks and I nod smiling. He starts taking off my jacket and hangs our jacket at the clothes hooks. I sit down and so does Shawn. All of sudden the guy from before comes back to us with a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. He lays down the glasses and poures the wine into the glasses before be lays down the bottle on the table too. We thank him and be walks away again. Shawn takes his glass and so do I.
- Looking forward to a wonderf evening with the most wonderful girl in the world. - he says smiling brightly and we push our glasses.
We take a sip of our wine before we lay it back on the table and Shawn looks into the menu.
- Don't you want to look into the menu? - he asks wondering and I begin to grin.
- I already know what I would like to eat. So no, I won't. - I say.
- Oh really? What do you want? - he asks me smiling.
- No no, wait. Let me gues... - he says chuckling and frowns.
- Lasagna? - he asks me confident.
- Mr. Mendes, you're good at guessing. - I say smirking and take another sip of my wine.
- Oh thanks Ms. Mendes, that's very kind of you. - he says smirking as well. I begin to chuckle quietly and he starts smiling brightly.
- I love it when we fool around. - he says smiling softly. His smile is so warm and cute right now, he gots me in his spell.
- Me too, Shawn. - I say and Shawn leans over to gives me a kiss.
Suddenly the waiter comes and asks for our dinner.
- Good evening Mr. and Ms. What can I offer you? - waiter asks kindly and takes out his pen and notepad. Shawn looks over to me so I should say first.
- I'd like a lasagna, please. - I say smiling at the waiter and he smiles back.
- I'd like the same. - he says quick and smiles at me again.
- Okay. Your dinner will comes in about 10 minutes. - he says smiling and walks away.
Suddenly Shawn takes my hands and kisses the backs of them while we're looking in each others eyes. His eyes are so precious...it's like I could look right into his soul, it looks so honest and safe in the soft light of the burning candle.
- I love you so much babe. And I always will. Never forget that. - he says while he lays down his head and on our intertwined hands.
- And I love you Shawn. - I say and give him a kiss on his cheek.
The time passes by so fast, I didn't know that time could pass this fast.
The waiter comes again with out dinner and lays it down on the table. We thank him and start eating, this is the best lasagna ever!
After we finished our dinner we pay and walk to the car again while the street lights light up the streets of Toronto. I get in the car and so does Shawn. I lay down my purse on my lap and Shawn and I buckle up. He turns on the car and after that some music.
- Honey? What do you want to do now? We could watch a movie or have a walk or I don't know. Tell me. - he says smiling while he starts do drive.
- Uhm...what about watching a movie and cuddle or something like that? - I asks him while I lean down my head on his shoulder for a few seconds.
- I'd love to. - he says and drives to his apartment.
After 20 minutes we arrived in his apartment and I lay down my jacket and purse at the wardrobe and take off my shoes. Shawn already took off his shoes and jacket and now he's in the bedroom and puts on some comfortable clothes. As I'm ready I walk to my bag and take out some comfortable clothes as well.
Suddenly Shawn hugs me from behind and I turn around in his wonderful arms. We look each other in the eyes and press our lips together. It's a long and passionately kiss. We don't need words, we just need our body's.
Shawn let's go of me again and I grab my clothes.
- I'm going to change my clothes, I'll be back in two minutes. - I smiling at him and step backwards.
- You'd better hurry. You don't want me to be sad, do you? - he says and makes puppy expression.
- Of course I don't want you to be sad. I want you to be the happiest person alive. - I say smiling and close the door of his bedroom behind me. I change my clothes very fast so I can go back to my Shawnie. I lay my clothes down on the chair in his bedroom and open the door to walk back to Shawn, but I can't see him. Maybe he's in his kitchen or on the toilet.
I walk in the direction of the couch as suddenly Shawn jumps out from behind the corner to scare me. I scream and cover my face with my hands. Shawn begins to laugh and hugs me tight.
- You idiot! I nearly died! - I say chuckling and let me fall into the strong arms.
- Aww my poor baby. - he says chuckling and carries me on the sofa where he leans over me then.
- And by the way. I am the happiest person alive. You make me the happiest person alive, Jasmine. - he says and leans down to kiss me. After that the stands up again and gets some chocolate, something to drink and a blanket.
Shawn lays the things down on the table and turns off the lights before he sits down next to me and covers our body's with the blanket. He turns on the TV and opens Netflix. I lay down my head on his chest and hold his other hand.
- So, what do you want to watch? - he asks me and gives me a kiss on my forehead.
- What about Harry Potter? - I asks and pull me closer to him.
- Harry Potter?! - says like a suprised little kid.
- Yes. I mean I haven't watched all and you love it. So it's perfect. - I say smiling at him.
- No, you are perfect. - he says and starts one of the Harry Potter movies.
He lays his head back and starts to stroke my head while I'm laying on his chest and hold his other hand.
The only lights which are shining in the room left are the Tv, a lapm in the corner and his hazel brown eyes. It's so romantic and cuddly right now, that's definitely one of the best feelings. When I'm with Shawn I feel so safe. It's like I need nothing else but him. I don't even need air, he keeps me alive with his being. He lays down his head on mine and we enjoy these moments and this evening full of love.
The last Harry Potter movie ended ans we watched till 2am and now I'm very tired. I lift up my head and see that Shawn's just before falling asleep too.
- Darling? - I ask him half asleep and he begins to smile at me.
- Yes, babe? - he asks me and strokes my cheeks softly.
- Would you mind if I'd go to bed? I'm very tired. - I say and get up slowly.
- I'm coming with you, it's enough for today. - he says and gets up too before he turna off the TV. He lifts me up and  carries me to the bed where he lays me down and covers me with the blanket.
After that he crawls under my blanket to and hugs me tight. He holds me tight and lays down his head next to mine.
- This day was amazing and I want to thank you for this. I enjoy every second with you. - he says sleepily.
- Me too Shawn. - I say and turn my face to his.
- Goodnight babe, I love you. - he says and gives me a kiss.
- Goodnight darling, I love you too. - I say and close my eyes while I hold his hands again.
