Jasmine's POV

- How's my hair? Does it look good? - he asks me nervous as we get out of the car.
- Its look amazing, just as you. - I say smiling and he takes my hand.
- Okay, well. Let's go.
We walk to the front door of my house and I feel Shawn's grip on my hand getting tighter.
- Relax, you already know my parents and my brother, the rest of my family is just as cool as them. - I chuckle and kiss his shoulder.
Shawn smiles at me and nods, letting out a loud breath.
- Okay. - he says trying to calm down.
I don't know why he's so extremely nervous, but I think he just wants to be likes by my family and I love him for that.
As we ring the bell the door opens immediately and a little girl in a pink dress smiles at us.
- Jassy! - she yells excited and jumps right into my arms.
- Hey Rose! - I say hugging her tight.
Rose is my little cousin, always hanging on my leg, but lovely.
- Rose, this is Shawn. - I tell her and she hugs him tight.
- Hello Shawn, I'm Rose. But you can call me Rosie. - she tells him and smiles.
Seems like she already like Shawn.
- Hey Rosie. I love your dress!
Rose's smile widens and she grabs his hand.
- Come in, mommy and daddy are already waiting for you. - she says and pulls us in.
As we take off our shoes Rose already went to the garden.
- She is cute, she reminds me of you. - he says smiling and gives me a kiss.
I smile and take his hand so we can go to the garden where the rest of the family is already waiting.
- Hello! - I say loud so everyone could hear us.
Everyone greets back except my mom, she runs into my arms.
- Heyyy darling, haven't see you for a long time now. How are you? - she asks me excited and then looks up at Shawn.
- Hey Shawn, how are you two?
- We're good, thanks mom. - I say chuckling and she begins to smile in relief.
- Hey.
- Great. Dinner is nearly ready, just sit and relax. - she tells us and walks back into the house.
I walk to two free chairs next to my grandma, she's already really old, at least 83, but still one of the funniest people I know.
- Oh hey Jasmine, you became such a beautiful young woman! - my grandma tells me while touching my cheeks.
- Thank you grandma, but I'll never look as good as you! - I chuckle and she chuckles too.
- By the way grandma, this is Shawn. My hus- uhm boyfriend. - I nearly said it out loud. 'Husband'.
- Hello, nice too meet you. - he says and huggs her.
- Likewise Shawn. I hope you treat my little sunshine good, otherwise I'll throw my walking stick at you. - she tells him but begins to chuckle.
Shawn was scares of her for a second, his expression told me. We sit down and talk to the others.
It feels amazing to have my whole family at one place and my nearly husband next to me.

- Okay guys, I'd appreaciate if you'd listen to us for a minute. - I say after standing up.
Shawn takes my hand and we walk to the front of the big table, everyone is looking at us.
I don't know how my family will react, especially my parents and my brother.
- So uhm... - I say but I lose the words.
Too excited to speak.
- We have some news we'd like to tell you. - he says and my parents faces get kind of shocked.
- Yeah uhm right. So a few weeks ago I was feeling bad and I knew something is wrong. I also had to go to the hospital... - I say and now everyones expression is kind of nervous.
- It was beartbreaking to see her in the hospital, but as soon as I knew why she broke down and that she's fine, I'm the happiest man alive.
- Mom, Dad, family. I'm pregnant, we'll be parents. - I say and everyone begins to cheer.
- Congrats!!
- Woah!
- Oh god, congrats!
We thank them all, but as soon as I saw my mom coming up to me crying, I felt the tears coming out of my eyes too.
- Oh honey. - mom says crying and hugs me tight.
- Congrats, that are amazing news.
- Thank you mom, I was really scared to tell you.
- You had no reason to be scared. - she says, but gets cut off by my dad hugging me.
- Congrats honey, I'm so excited. - dad says and I thank him.
After they congrat me, they also congrat and hug Shawn. His smile is so bright.
- Hold on a minute. That's not everything we wanted to tell you. - I say and Shawn hugs me from behind.
- Yesterday Shawn and I went to the AMA's and after he performed, he proposed to me live on camera. - I say.
- And she said yes. - he says beginning to cry and more cheers appear.
- You must be kidding me! - mom says now crying like a waterfall.
- No mom, I'm not. I'm gonna be married soon. - I say and she hugs me again.
After she hugged me she hugs Shawn even more tight.
- Welcome in our family, we really love you Shawn! - she tells him and he thanks her crying.
- Thank you m'am, I really appreciate that! - he says letting go of her.
- Oh please, call me Clarissa. - Shawn nods and hugs my dad who also congrats us like everyone else.
After 10 minutes everyone congrat us and we now sit at the table again talking.
This feeling is amazing. My family is happy about everything and my husband is just as happy as them.
I love it.
