After confirming everything, I was finally at peace. I wanted everything to be perfect so I promised the Silverios that I would contact them if I ever get a lead. Pero syempre, cover up lang 'yon dahil gusto ko, nasa maayos na kalagayan na si Alyana kapag makikita nila ito. This was her second comatose and I'm scared that it might pain them even more if they saw her in that kind of state.

Now all there's left to do is wait.

I busied myself for the past few days in studying. Hindi ko na nakakasabay si Cryd masiyado dahil abala ito sa paghahabol ng mga requirements niya gawa nung interschool competition. Ang daming araw kasi nitong excused dahil sa puspusan nilang pagsasanay. With Cryd being busy, Alyana in the hospital and Xy missing in action, I was always alone.

Kaya naman ngayon, mag-isa ako sa canteen. Saktong pagkakuha ko ng tray sa counter, may humigit sa balikat ko at sinuntok ako. Bumagsak ako sa sahig at umungad sa akin ang galit na galit na si Jake nang tingalain ko.

"Nung isang araw ka pa, ah? Ano bang problema mo?" I tasted blood when I wiped the side of my lips. Tatalikod na sana ako nang sumigaw itong muli dahilan para matawag ang atensyon ng mga estudyante.

"What are you doing here? You should be resting!" Imbes na sagutin si Jake ay lumapit ito sa'kin at sinuri ang sugat sa gilid ng labi ko. "Xy, ano ba? After all that he's done to you? This jerk doesn't deserve you! Stop that!"

"Let me be, Jake!"

"I would, if it weren't for the baby!" Everyone gasped at such announcement. Nagsalubong ang mga kilay ko habang unti-unting nililipat ang tingin kay Xy.

"What baby? What is he talking about, Xy?" Nag-iwas ito ng tingin. "Hey, look at me. Are you pregnant?"

Hinawakan ko siya sa magkabilang braso nang tumulo ang luha sa mata niya. Hindi ito makatingin sa'kin.

"Who's the father?" Hindi niya sinagot ang tanong ko. Bagkus, hinawakan niya ang mukha ko at tinitigan ako.

"Help me bear this child, Sych." Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. She's not denying it.

"Xy, you don't need him!" Jake tried to pull her but she refused to get swayed.

We were getting weird looks from everyone but I was just left so confused on why was everything happening at a blink of an eye.

Muli ko siyang tinitigan nang seryoso. She was already crying and her shoulders were shaking.

"Inuulit ko, sinong ama niya'n?"

"Does that matter? I don't care about the stupid father of this baby. All I want is for you to take responsibility of it! Please!" She was almost pulling me by the collar but I held her wrist to stop her.

"Nababaliw ka na ba? Bakit ko naman gagawin 'yon?"

"Because if you don't, ipapalaglag ko 'to. You can't let that happen, right?" banta niya.

She looked like a mess in her clothes and make-up. She was this campus' queen, but all I see now is a desparate woman begging for something she can no longer have.
